"You ready, horseface?" You brought your green cape around your shoulders and clipped it in the front. "Don't worry about me." Jean was adjusting his ODM gear. "I still can't believe that Annie..." You shook your head as you headed toward the door. "Yeah..." Jean finished getting himself together and walked with you.
"The trio are the ones going underground, right?" You walked down the hallway with Jean, towards the main area of the headquarters. "Yeah, we'll see how well that goes. Annie's smart.
"You get to be Eren for a minute." You put your hand on Jean's shoulder as you approached the wagon outside. "Never in my life would I think I'd have to dress like that maniac." Jean shook his head and pushed your hand off of his shoulder. "Well good luck. I'll only be a little bit of ways away."
The benefit of being one of the top of your class is that you got to go on the fun missions. You snuck around in the shadows, keeping an eye on where Eren and the others were going. You crouched down on a rooftop, looking over to see Annie standing at the top of the stairs.
Armin was the one talking to her, and she definitely knew what was going on. 'Shit. She knows." You could hear Annie beginning to laugh. Her laugh was gut wrenching, since you knew what was going to come. In just a split second, there was a flash of light and a large gust of wind.
You crawled down onto the other side of the roof and covered your eyes to protect yourself from the light and the rubble. Once the light had disappeared, you bought out your blades and stood up. You could see the Female Titan right before you. "Armin was right. That smart fucker." You smirked as you quickly zipped up.
The Female Titan began running at top speed, creating chaos through Stohess. You could see the Garrison perched on the rooftops, during nothing. You clicked your tongue as you looked down, trying to see Eren and the others. It didn't take long for Mikasa to emerge from the underground, chasing after Annie.
You looked to see Armin and Eren still in the rubble. You quickly dropped down, just in time to meet Jean. "Guys! Eren's stuck under here!" Armin looked back to you guys as you knelt down in beside Eren. "Wasn't he supposed to turn into a titan?!" Jean stood behind you guys as he looked at Eren.
"He couldn't! I think that because Annie is the titan, it's holding him back!" Armin grabbed onto the large stone sitting on top of Eren. You quickly helped Armin move it, pushing it to the side to reveal Eren.
There was blood coming from his head, which wasn't a good sign. "Damn it Eren!" Jean stomped towards Eren's motionless body. "Quit screwing around! I told you we'd need to count on you someday! We put our lives in your hands! Marco didn't... Marco..." Jean yelled at Eren, his voice cracking when he mentioned Marco.
You could hear a large crash behind you and you looked to see a piece of debris hit the clock tower. You, Jean and Armin quickly scrambled to get out of the way of the flying debris. You ad Armin went rolling onto the ground. You groaned in pain as your knees scrapped across the pavement.
"We have to do something about her first!" Jean was standing up behind you, looking at the Female Titan that stood just down the street. You quickly got up, wiping off your knees as Jean sped towards the titan. You quickly followed his lead and made your way up the street.
You zoomed around her, trying to get a good position. As soon as any of you got near her nape, she used her hand to cover it. Her hand would become crystalized to protect herself. Armin began screaming at Annie from down on the ground. You didn't pay attention to what he said as you watched Jean make a move towards her nape while she was distracted.
It was no use though, her hand just protected her again. "This way!" Jean yelled at you and Armin and you all quickly made your way through the streets. You zipped through the air, following Jean. As you guys made your way to where Hange was, cords began extending out, digging themselves into her skin.
