(Soleil's POV)

Soleil was laying on her side in her lioness form, resting on her elbows and licking the pad of her paws as Tony prepped for his first test flight with his new boot repulsors. The process to get here was an all nighter of work, with a small break in the middle of the night for the Chinese food that Tony had ordered.

The time constructing said boots, was basically Soleil helping with the wiring, Tony doing the framework and DUM-E eventually being demoted to just holding a fire extinguisher for the test.

"Okay, let's do this right." Tony said, walking backwards to the middle of the protective flooring he laid out. "Start mark, half a meter and back. And centre."

Soleil snorted through her nose at the sound of clunky metal meeting the ground as she moved to a seated position, situated near DUM-U who was in-charge of documentation via film.

"DUM-E, look alive. You're on standby for fire safety. " Tony looked from one robot to the next. "You, roll it. Sol."

"Yes?"

"Can you check the camera angle on that?"

"Sure." Soleil leaned over to look at the video camera DUM-U was holding, checking the screen to see that Tony was situated in the middle of it. "You're good."

"Do I look good? Because that is the important question." Tony smirked.

Soleil growled playfully. "You look fine, Tony."

"Alright." Tony smirked."One more thing though. Any wise wisdom you wish to share about flight?"

"Repulsors are different from wings." Soleil said and proceeded to flap her left wing a few times before folding it back in.

"Good enough." Tony chuckled before he took a breath in and exhaled out. "Okay. Activate hand controls. We're gonna start off nice and easy. We're gonna see if 10% thrust capacity achieves lift. And three, two, one."

Soleil immediately stood on all fours as Tony was flung up and back into the upper wall before plummeting the ground with an even louder thud then when he had made contact with the wall.

DUM-E spraying Tony with the fire extinguisher knocked the shock out of her before she made her way to Tony's side. Finding him behind one of the metal storage chest spread out, flat on his back and covered in powder before Soleil snickered.

"How was the flight?" Soleil smirked.

Tony groaned. "Exceptional. A little turbulence but can't complain."

Soleil gurgled as she moved her right paw to help Tony to his feet, and shaking off the powder from it afterwards. "At least you achieved lift off. It's a start."

"But it also means were not done yet." Tony said as he scowled at DUM-E and motioned to the powder covering him. "You are a tragedy."

"Rude!" Soleil said as she moved around Tony and the mess not wanting to get anymore of it on her. She rubbed her head against DUM-E's arm. "You did your job, DUM-E. Tony was not being exact with his orders."

Tony moved his scowl to her. "I will remember that next time."

Soleil smiled as black and gold dust covered her before appearing in her human -with cat ears- form again. "Next time can wait. You take that off and take a shower. I will get the boots cleaned off, while DUM-E can take care of this mess. DUM-U, make sure you send that video to me."

"What?! No!" Tony shook his head quickly and turned to point at DUM-U. "Don't you dare."

"Too late!" Soleil said feeling the buzz of her phone which Tony provided her with, since her last one was taken and went up in flames along with the Ten Rings hideout.
