(Third Person POV)

As the missile exploded the blast sent them all flying, but Tony managed to see Soleil; who was covering her ears from the pain. He knew that she had brought her special earpieces to New York and probably forgot to bring them back with her, though it was not like they stopped back in New York after their vacation in Fiji to get them or ever stepped foot in New York since a few moths ago.

He could admit to himself that he was very overprotective of Soleil, even though Tony knew she did not need him to be. She could handle herself, and this was probably one of those times; but Tony took it upon himself to protect her.

He made a gesture with his arms as he flew mid-air and sent the Mark XLII to attach itself to her instead of him. They both slammed into the wall, but Tony definitely felt it more without the protection that his suit provided.

Tony coughed; having the wind knocked out of him. It left him stunned for a moment before he grunted and propped himself up on one of his elbows, turning to the side. He saw Maya laying unconscious in the distance before he looked up and saw the ceiling beginning to quake and shatter.

His eyes widened as his body soon began to react but Soleil reacted faster than him, and soon Tony was faced with Iron Man leaning over him as a slab of concrete fell over top of them. It smashed into Soleil's back and crumbling into pieces, with Iron Man not even being fazed as Soleil opened the face mask.

"I got you." Soleil breathed out.

"I got you first." Tony retorted. "Like I said, we can't stay here."

"Yeah~ like you said." Soleil sighed as she and Tony soon got up. "Tony, I can't shift in this suit."

"I know. I'll call it off in a-" Before Tony could finish his sentence another missile flew into the main atrium and exploded, sending Tony flying back towards the windows.

He flew over the couch but was quick to get up this time before looking towards Soleil. "Move!"

"Take the suit!" Soleil yelled back.

"I'm right behind you!" Tony yelled as he hopped over the couch and took off. "Just get going!"

Soleil growled as she turned away and started running towards the entrance but almost lost her footing as some of the flooring began to crumble before falling out just behind her. Leaving a gap between her and Tony; who was on the other side, having stopped before falling into the new hole in the ground.

"Tony!" Soleil looked towards him. "Take the fucking suit! Now!"

"Get her! I'm gonna find another way around." Tony could see the protest on Soleil's face and he immediately held up a hand. "Stop stopping. Get her. Get Outside. GO!"

Soleil bared her fangs at him before the face plate slammed down and she took off running. She soon got to Maya; who was just waking up and grabbed her arm, hoisting her up. Soleil placed Maya's arm around her shoulder before moving them towards the front door.

She had never really used Tony's thrusters before, leaving Tony and/or Rhodey alone to actually 'man' the suits of armour. Which made actually using them quite an experience, as they blast off, breaking through the glass door.

Soleil shifted Maya to the front of her, as her own back collided through the glass and they went rolling on the ground of the driveway. Soleil looked from Maya back to mansion, when she heard another missile explode.

"Oh my god! Tony!!" Soleil yelled.

Tony lost his balance as the entire portion of the structure hanging over the ocean began to tilt, and soon he went rolling down in the direction gravity was pulling him. He managed to grab hold of a beam as his feet broke through the pane of glass before he pulled himself up, now resting his back against it.
