(Tony's POV)

As they approached the bridge; Tony and Soleil heard a portion of the ongoing conversation going on with a few familiar voices and one unknown.

"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell crazy on him." Someone gave their description of the God of Mischief.

"Have care how you speak." Thor spoke a warning. "Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard.. and he's my brother."

"He killed eighty people in two days." Natasha pointed out.

There was a pause before Thor spoke again. "..He's adopted."

"I think it's about the mechanics. Iridium, what did they need the Iridium for?"

"It's a stabilizing agent." Tony said, gaining everyone's attention as soon as they walked in with Coulson. Before he continued with the 'superhero' group, he looked to Phil and continued their conversation they were having on the way here. "So, I'm just saying. Pick a weekend, I'll fly you to Portland. Keep the love alive."

Soleil rolled her eyes at him while Phil only gestured for them to join and place their full attention in the ongoing conversation.

"It means the portal won't collapse on itself, like it did at SHIELD." Tony said, letting go of Soleil's hand as she moved to sit down beside Natasha. He continued on his path, passing Thor as he went on. "No hard feelings, Point Break. You've got a mean swing."

"Also. It means the portal can open as wide.. and stay open as long, as Loki wants." Tony said, referring to Iridium once more as he now stood in front of the director's control panel. Looking towards the crew. "Uh.. raise the mizzenmast, jib the top sails."

All he got was confused stares in response before out of the corner of his eye, Tony spotted something of -no relative- interest. "That man is playing GALAGA! Thought we wouldn't notice... But, we did."

He covered one of his eyes and looked around at the control panel. "How does Fury do this?"

"He turns." Agent Maria Hill deadpanned, with her arms crossed by her chest.

"Sounds exhausting." Tony stated already getting a sense that some people were getting annoyed with his -accurate- bullshit, which is what he wanted. He began walking around the screens, pressing a few none life threatening buttons while also planting his Decryption programmer underneath one of them.

He did that, all while still speaking. "The rest of the raw materials, Agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily... Only major component he still needs is a power source of high energy density. Something to kick-start the cube."

Maria raised a brow. "When did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?"

"Last night." Tony said it as if everyone was a genius or naturally scientifically inclined. "The packet. Selvig's notes; the Extraction Theory papers. Am I the only one who did the reading?"

(Soleil's POV)

Soleil bit back a smirk and instead she covered her mouth as a yawn escaped, feeling tired from reaching the 48 hour mark of being awake and counting.

"Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?" Steve asked.

"He's got to heat the cube to a hundred and twenty million Kelvin just to break through the Coulomb barrier." Soleil said. Though she noticed that the man's voice who she could now put a face to; Bruce Banner, was ready to say the same thing.

He looked at her pensively, eyes narrowing at her ears as they twitched and swivelled downwards before he met her eyes. Soleil stared right back him since he was staring at her, but she felt bad when he seemed to cower away when her eyes met him.
