Soleil sat by the coffee table in the centre of lounge in the Stark Tower. She was taping her fingers rhythmically as she sang "Empire State Of Mind (In New York)" by Alicia Keys, thinking back to all that's happened over the past two years.

Going back to the time after they discussed their qualifications for the Avenger's Initiative with Fury, the next day Soleil and Tony made it to Washington D.C. to accept their medal of 'honour' alongside Rhodey.
The best part was the favour Tony had asked for from the Director of SHIELD; about needing a presenter, which they had decided on Senator Stern awarding them. Out of spite, for the most part though neither would admit it out loud.
"It is my honour to be here today; to present these distinguished awards to Ms. Soleil Marcella, Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes and Mr. Tony Stark; who is.. of course, 'a national treasure'." Stern forced a smile towards the cameras taking pictures of them as they all stood on stage.
Soleil bit back a snicker as she stood in the middle of Tony and Rhodey, with a crowd of people in front of them. They looked at her in fascination as her ears twitched in the wind and tail swayed from side to side, but Soleil has gotten used to -some of- the attention by now.
It was like Tony had said the two nights before; 'she would be the talk of the town' though it was an understatement. Because Soleil was a talk of the whole country for her mysterious 'being' thanks to her Deity Lion physiology, and everyone was fascinated about the prospects of her life.
But it was not just her, both Tony -obviously- and Rhodey as well were a topic to converse about over the media who spoke of their heroic actions last night. Today; Tony was decked out in a custom tailored light grey suit with a black tie and sunglasses, while Rhodey wore his Military uniform.
Soleil was wearing a Balmain black with gold embellishment romper. Some black velvet ankle strap Tom Ford 4inch heels. Rocking a pair of black and gold Dior sunglasses to compliment her look. Her hair in the same style she had it in for Tony's birthday.
