Hello, it took me too damn long to finish this. And I must say, the worst time to have writer's block is between the movies.

Anyway, this chapter is based of the comic book. Now, it is not completely accurate. So, please read it with that information in mind. Thank you.

(Soleil's POV)

August is spent with Soleil back in Ay, France. She had promised to give her sister a chance and that was what she was going to do. She had decided to spend a month there, much to Tony's protest but if she was going to do this; Soleil was going to commit.

In all honestly, she did not find being a farmhand too hard. Learning to ride was a bit more complicated than actually caring for the cattle but Lune was there to help her every step of the way. Nakia had been around for the last two weeks of the month as well and the three ladies had gotten close to the extent of what some may consider 'friends', at the very least.

The sisterly relationship was still a touchy subject, but as long as they stayed away from the mention of their parents, past, and being descendants; the time passed by smoothly. Her 42nd birthday was quite simple or more simple than it has been since '09. Lune had gifted her a horse of her own that she could ride whenever she wanted instead of riding Dune -Lune's horse- or Zimba -Nakia's-.

Nakia had gifted her a bracelet, which she explained was from her country: Wakanda. Soleil almost gasped when she heard the name of the place Nakia originated from, and Nakia was surprised by Soleil's knowledge of it, albeit it was only a little.

She only knew that it was where Vibranium was basically harvested from but that was it, so she and Nakia left it that while Lune had looked on at the two in a confused state.

Overall, Soleil enjoyed the rustic vibe of living out on a farm though she was not interested in the idea of owning one. But the simplicity of being away from the city, it was nice and almost the exact opposite of what she had.

Maybe...when we retire...Soleil thought about her's and Tony's future living situation, and how something modern yet simple seemed to be what was coming to mind. But that still won't be for a while, I presume.

She had gotten back to New York and business was as usual in September, for the most part. The Avengers orbital satellite had been launched, which was a big thing to check off the -Tony's- list and was now operational.

The downfall of SHIELD brought about some major issues, a big one for the Avengers specifically was Loki's Sceptre. Soleil had thought about it momentarily back before the fight at The Triskelion but had not given it much thought afterward until the battle was over and everything settled down a bit.

Thor had been the biggest one to explode when he had been informed of the Sceptre being taken by Hydra and was ready to go hunt for it immediately after. But Soleil and Tony had stopped him from going out on a search without any leads, as it would probably just be a futile effort on his part.

Tony told him not to waste his energy and Thor -albeit reluctantly- decided to agree and wait until they can get more of an idea on where they could find the Sceptre. Thor prioritized the search and made it adamantly clear that the Sceptre would be returning to Asgard with him this time, leaving no room for argument. Thankfully, the God decided to stay with them at the tower due to this pressing issue, but it could also be because Jane Foster had her own work to do.

No one was going to fight the God of Thunder on his decision to take the Sceptre back to Asgard but needed to reminded him that it was different from back in 2012. They had been tracking the Tesseract at that time and since that seemed to produce more gamma radiation that could be tracked by a spectrometers, this might be harder to find in comparison due to it not having as high of a radiation level.
