I've been away for a long time, I've found my star in a constellation. I hope this makes up a little.

"Emmmmmyyyyy"

"You can't ignore my forever, Emilia. Answer your phone!"

"I went by your place today. The little old man told me you went on a trip with an alternative looking guy, I'm guessing that's Ben, c'mon-"

"The machine cut me off, anyways, I apologised to Ben... call me, yeah?"

"Ok so I didn't call the prick! I don't see why ignoring me for what... two weeks! I don't know how this is a punishment!"

"Look, swing by my place and I'll call Ben. I'll invite him to dinner and this can be over with. Okay?"

"EMMMMMYYYYY! HAHA I MISS YOU! IF YOU CAN'T HEAR I'M AT A PARTY RIGHT NOW! I'M GONNA GET PISS ASS DRU- WAIT THERE'S A PRICK TRYING TO GET THE PHONE. EMILIA COME GET THIS SHITHEAD AWA-"

"When is he ever going to give up?" Emilia asked herself, "He hasn't even apologised to Ben and he wants me to talk to him? I don't think so. You're better than that, Emilia. You're better."

She pours hot water in a coffee mug as she stands in her kitchen listening to her voicemails that Brian had left her over the past two weeks or so. Ripping the package open, the pours the chocolate dust into the water, stirring it as she does.

"Milly, please. I need you. I really do. I.... I miss you so much. I miss dancing with you and cooking breakfast. I miss waking up in your living to shut you up when you snore. I miss you in all and every million little pieces that make up you. Please, place call me."

Emilia groaned picking up the phone to call Ben. They've been hanging out a lot-even went to camp. They've become mutual friends as Ben puts it. Though Emilia did try moves on him during their camp nights, Ben saved her from embarrassment and told her he was interested in someone else.

The phone rang for a few times before the faint soft voice of Mr. Molko responds with a simple "Hello." She lets her breathing calm down before responding.

"I don't snore loudly, you do."

Brian, who was staring at the tree outside his window, cracks a big smile. His green eyes brightens the gloomy room he hadn't left for days. Evidence of pizza boxes and beers scattered around the room. His dress was wrinkled and his now long hair was tied back. His blue eyeshadow was smudged along with his glittery blue lipstick. "I think you snore so loud that you've become deaf, my dear."

Emilia bites her bottom lip, trying not to smile. "Whatever. I don't even sleep."

"You hibernate-"

"I do not! You know what, I'll hang up on you. I swear it, Molko."

"NO! No, please don't. I rather not fill up your voicemail again. I can't wait and wish any longer."

"Fine, but I must say your messages where really not sweet at all. You couldn't sweet talked your way to forgiveness. The last message broke my heart."

"Really?"

"Yeah really, for you to think that I snore when it's actually you is a tragedy."

"I'll prove it to you that I don't snore. I'll bring my recorder and record you sleeping."

"Don't be a creep!"

"I meant voice record, Jesus Milly, I'm not you."

She gasps, setting her half way done chocolate beverage down, "Urrgghh, are you coming over it not?"

"I'll come when I come, don't nag. I know you miss me a lot."

"Says the one who left a voicemail of repeating 'I miss yo-"

"OKAY I'LL BE OVER SOON BE MILLY"

She sets her phone down and chuckles. She squeels at the thought of having Brian over.

After thinking of their friendship over the past weeks apart, she realised that she was more than ok with how close the are. They weren't jeopardizing anything, and she was content with that.
