DRACO MALFOY CHRONICLES:
The wind was blowing wildly as a thunderstorm raged outside my house.
It was a small house, but hey, it is my home.
I had a very long day; I am a nurse in one of the veterinary hospitals in my area. There was not much I could do when I was 16, but thanks to my height and the power of makeup, I could pretend to be at least 18 years old.
I had to light candles in case the lights went out. I hated the dark. I was afraid of the dark.
I was getting comfortable in bed, I was only sleeping a little, it took a while for me to fall asleep for an abnormal reason, but in the end, I fell asleep.
I woke up suddenly, I could still hear the rain and the wind that made me feel like the whole house was shaking. I wondered why I had woken up.
A sudden loud noise was heard at my window, it started me up. I turned to look and could see a bird-like figure. I ran to my window and opened it slowly trying not to scare the bird.
Slowly but surely I was able to open my window, the rain and the wind chilled my skin. I put said bird inside and closed the window as fast as I could. I brushed off the raindrops a bit.
Looking down I saw an owl. A brown owl, he looked injured and obviously very tired. It must have been difficult flying in this weather.
I walked to my bathroom with the owl wrapped in my nightshirt. I got out some towels and turned on the light. I placed the owl in the sink and tried to dry it as much as I could, examining it carefully in the process. It appeared to have a damaged wing, nothing too serious. Most of all he needed rest and some protein. I was glad.
-Well, you seem to be a lucky person. The owl chirped and looked at me with its big yellow eyes.
"I don't have a cage big enough for you, so for now I'll let you stay in my room with some food, water, and some food."
I walked gently back to my room, attached the owl to a small hook on my wall, he stood there and was patient enough to wait for me to finish preparing the space.
When I finished, I did not feel tired anymore, so I decided to start my day. I bathed, made my bed, and got ready to go to work.
I walked to work every morning, which gave me time to think and relax before work. You could never be ready for the kind of people who walk through those doors.
When I arrived at my destination, I took out the keys and opened the door; we had 24-hour service, so my coworker should be here.-Good morning Eveline. I called but received no response. I walked to the back and saw Eveline sleeping. I rolled my eyes and carefully took the records to see what needed to be done this morning.
I fed some kittens, cleaned the cages, made sure everyone had their meds at the right time and went to the front of the clinic.
I pulled out my book looking for a snack in my purse. Which made me remember to bring some food for the owl and see if we had a cage that I could borrow from the clinic.
- Y / N! You scared the sin out of me. I laughed. -I said good morning but you were sleeping I did not want to impose. She shrugged her shoulders. -Okay kid, you look more tired than I do. Did you get a guy or start a book at night? I gasped. -Eveline! No guys. Any book. I received another type of visitor last night. Eveline wood me. -Was he handsome because if he was not handsome I do not want to know. I laughed. -He was an owl, and he is very handsome.
-An owl? What was she doing with that weather? I shrugged my shoulders. -He was hurt and tired. I'll let him rest and set him free when he's better. -It will be better tomorrow girl, with those magic healing hands of yours. I laughed and rolled my eyes. -Eveline I have no magical healing powers.
