It had been a typical day at work the weekends were hectic. As I was finishing cleaning a table, my boss and coworker Vic came to me.

-Hey, when you are done can you help me to take out the trash? I nodded my head.

I was so happy that after a long day it was finally time to go home and rest. I grabbed all the trash, which wasn't much we were a small restaurant.

I took the trash outside to our dumpster, the cold air nipped my skin, I was so glad it was winter I had always loved the cold weather.

When I came in Vic was counting all her tips, I sat across from her and started counting mine.

I had to admit, after working 4 months here, I was sure it was temporary, I was sure that I was confused, that it was my brain playing tricks on me, but I knew in the end, I had a crush on Vic. I knew I wasn't straight, but hell nobody prepared me for this, She was so beautiful I didn't care that she had told me multiple times how she was straight, I still had to try.

I never realized how hard it was to flirt with women, in that area I understood men. I had no idea how to seduce or attract a woman, I couldn't do it the dude way, I knew better.

I was still trying to convince myself that it was temporary.

-Good night girls, see you tomorrow. Our cooks said and left, their puffy jackets and beany-covered heads walking out the door.

- Need to restock a few things if you want you can leave. Vic took off her apron and walked back to the counter.

-It's okay I can stay a bit longer, free of charge. I want to make sure everything is clean. As our night continued I was cleaning the bathrooms, then I heard Vic calling my name. The restaurant had 2 floors kind of like a loft. The storage room was on the second floor. I made my way upstairs but I didn't see Vic.

-Vic? I called her.-I'm in here. I walked to the storage room and opened the door, Vic ran towards me, and I closed the door behind me. -No, hold the...door. I got locked in. it happens sometimes that I need a card to open it. -Oh, let me try. I turned and tried to turn the knob but it wouldn't turn.

-Oh, now I get it. I am sorry. I looked around but saw nothing similar to what we needed. -Do you have your phone? She asked me. I touched all over my body but I had nothing. -Nope. She sigh. -Maybe my sister will come and lock up we can wait a bit. I sat down on the cold floor and started a simple conversation.

-That last table, I was tempted to just give them the check for them to leave sooner. Vic chuckled. -I know they ate so slowly and came in so late.

-Hey, I hear somebody. Vic stood up and called her sisters name. We received no answer. Then the lights turned off.

-On the bright side, at least nobody is breaking in, and she did come. Vic sat beside me. -I guess. I can't believe how dumb we are to be locked in here.

-Oh trust me, I'm dumb on my own and auto-sabotage myself quite nicely, thank you very much. Vic smiled. -Don't be so hard on yourself.

The room started to feel a bit cold. I guess the heater is no longer in service.

We spent some time looking around and making small talk.

-I'm getting bored, tell me something you wish you had done. Vic said to me as I looked around. -I once wanted to tell a rude customer to suck my dick, and that I wouldn't get fired. She laughed.

- I wish, I had told a rude customer that I was charging him double the tip.

-That is smart. I sat over one of the tables and crossed my legs.
