I woke up with red-hot anger in my veins and an adorable good morning text from Ty. I responded quickly before storming out of the room, still in my pyjamas, to confront Hadeon. He was wearing a hoodie and some basketball shorts, all black. Jessica and Jack were sitting beside him, both of them seemed to feel my anger come off of me in waves because they looked a little bit scared when they spotted me.

"Good morning, Violet." Hadeon greeted smugly.

"Don't talk to me. I'm mad at you." I informed, taking a seat at the dining table with the three of them and glaring daggers into the side of Hadeon's head.

"What? Why?" He shot back, which infuriated me even more.

"I don't know, it might have something to do with last night." I spat sarcastically.

"You mean when you called me rude and obnoxious." He offered. "I don't see why you would be mad at me for that."

"Is that why you kicked out Ty? Because I said that?"

"We rotate people. Customers come in, some gotta come out. Seriously, how do you not know this after one and a half weeks?"

"Who's Ty?" Jessica butted in.

"Ty is the really nice, incredibly sweet, and extremely cute guy who I was chatting with last night." I informed her.

"Ohhh, the little blond one." She remembered. "He was cute, did you get his number?"

"I did." I beamed. "I said something about going out sometime and he seemed interested."

"Wow, barely two weeks in Boston and you've already found yourself a cute boy. Good job, Vi!"

"That is," I turned the conversation back to Hadeon's dickishness. "If this idiot didn't scare him off."

"Hadeon, apologise." Jack grumbled immediately, like we were squabbling children.

"Up yours!" He spat back at him. Jack turned to me and shrugged, like there was nothing else he could do.

"I don't want an apology." I muttered. "I would just like it if next time I'm flirting with a cute guy, Hadeon stayed out of it."

"No can do." He laughed as he stood up and headed for the door. I stormed right after him and followed as he headed down the stairs.

"Why? Do you have some problem with me being happy. Are you a masochist who enjoys seeing other people suffer?"

"Oh, boo hoo. I kicked out your little boyfriend AFTER you gave him your number. A number to the phone I gave you, might I add." I scoffed, but he just kept yelling. "And a masochist enjoys when they are in pain, not others, so if anyones a masochist it would be you for subjecting yourself to spending time with a boring douchebag like that guy."

I just stared, angry smoke whistling out of my ears, as Hadeon stormed out and slammed the door.
