"How am I supposed to move all of these boxes..."
"We'll help, Mama," Hacchin offered.
"Yeah, Hacchi and I can carry a box together!" Satoshi cheered.
"The boxes are bigger than you both combined," Michiko sweatdropped.
"Call Daddy for help," the boys suggested.
Michiko pulled out her phone, "I guess that's a good idea."
"You have Daddy's number right?" The twins raised their eyebrows.
Michiko chuckled as she held up the phone to her ear, "Yes, I do."
And on the first ring, Sakusa answered, "Hello?"
"Uh, hi," Michiko started, "I'm here in front of your apartment complex with all my stuff."
"Wait, why?" Sakusa asked confused.
"I decided to move in with you?" The young woman said as if he was supposed to know about her plan.
"Oh..."
"..."
"I mean I don't mind at all, it's just I didn't know you were planning to do it now," Sakusa clarified.
This made Michiko furrow her eyebrows, "O-oh, the boys told me you knew..."
Michiko turned to look at Satoshi and Hacchin as they stared back at her with innocent expressions. She pulled the phone slightly away from her ear and raised eyebrows with a questioning look.
"You two told me that Daddy knew already," Michiko gave the twins a motherly look.
"But he did!" Satoshi insisted.
Hacchin rapidly nodded as his curls lightly bounced, "Yeah! He told us!"
About a Week Ago...
"Daddy," Hacchin called out.
"Hmm?"
"Can Mama move in with you?" Hacchin questioned.
"I'd love for her to," Sakusa answered, "but-"
Satoshi and Hacchin zeroed in on the first part of Sakusa's answer. Their eyes sparkled as they thought about the idea of finally having their mom and dad together. They ignored Sakusa's soft rejection of how their mother needs to decide that for herself.
A knock interrupted Sakusa's extended explanation. He got up and opened the door to find Michiko standing there in a tracksuit. The corner of Sakusa's lifted.
"Hi," Michiko smiled.
The twins popped their heads out from behind Sakusa's legs, "Hi, Mama!"
They went to hug the young woman, "Did you two have fun?"
