Set during the Kurowashiki All Japan V-ball Tournament — look to Ch. 379 in the manga for reference.
"Hi Toto!" the twins cheered.
"Hi," Kageyama replied in response.
The MSBY Black Jackals entered the small stadium, meeting the Shweiden Adlers. Sakusa scowled under his mask. Atsumu looked between Kageyama and the little twins, trying to figure out how they know Kageyama. Satoshi and Hacchin began walking towards the opposing team, but Atsumu swiftly grabbed the back of their shirts.
"Let us go, Uncle Atsumu!" Satoshi thrashed his arms.
"Yeah! What's yer problem?!" Hacchin exclaimed.
"Ya two shouldn't converse with the enemy," Atsumu scowled.
"But we wanna talk to Toto," the twins crossed their arms as a pout occupied their faces.
"Too bad," Atsumu started dragging them away as the MSBY Jackals went to the locker rooms.
Satoshi and Hacchin dropped their arms and trudged on.
"We should put Daddy's hand sani in Uncle Atsumu's water," Hacchin muttered in Portuguese.
"Let's tie his shoes together, so he'll trip in front of everyone," Satoshi added.
"Oi, what're ya sayin' about me?" Atsumu questioned.
The little twins snickered at their uncle's lack of knowledge of the language.
"Uncle Atsumu doesn't understand us," Satoshi cackled.
"He's a dumb dumb," Hacchin chuckled evilly.
"OI! WHAT'RE YA SAYIN' ABOUT ME?!" Atsumu snarled.
"Nothing," Satoshi and Hacchin waved off, ignoring Atsumu's small outburst.
Atsumu narrowed his eyes down at the little boys.
"If ya let us go, we'll tell ya," Hacchin bargained.
Atsumu sighed, "Fine."
The moment Atsumu's hands loosened, the twins ran in the opposite direction and back to the Shweiden Adlers. They had shit-eating grins as their curls flew out of their faces.
"OI! COME BACK, YA LITTLE BRATS!"
The twins stopped and turned around. Satoshi and Hacchin stuck their tongues out as they both pulled down their eye, taunting Atsumu before running back to the opposing team. The twins were laughing so hard that they didn't see the person that they were about to run into.
Satoshi and Hacchin hit a wall and fell back. They looked up at the wall they ran into and instead found an Adler's member staring back down at them. Their olive-colored eyes glared down at the little humans that had just bumped into him.
Satoshi and Hacchin stood and pulled small bottles of Curell out of their pockets. They sanitized their hands and looked up at the tall man.
"We're sorry," Hacchin said.
"Yeah, we were running away from Uncle Atsumu," Satoshi added.
The man blinked as he continued to gaze down at the two boys.
"Are you Toto's teammate?!" The boys gasped as they realized the man was a part of the Shweiden Adlers.
"Who's 'Toto'?" The man's voice boomed.
Satoshi and Hacchin's eyes widened at the sound, slightly startled by how deep and loud his voice came out.
"He's your setter," Hacchin answered.
"What's your name, tall man?" Satoshi tilted his head.
The man blinked again, "Ushijima Wakatoshi."
The little twins gasped loudly, "You're Waka Waka!"
Ushijima merely blinked again, "What are your names?"
"I'm Hacchin."
"And I'm Satoshi."
The little twins grinned as they pointed to themselves with their thumbs.
"Mama said she was friends with you."
"You met her when you were littler."
Ushijima looked between the two boys, "Who is your mother?"
"Uh," Satoshi turned to his brother, "do you know Mama's real name, Hacchi?"
Hacchin gave a confused look, "I thought Mama's name was 'Mama'?"
Satoshi and Hacchin scrunched their eyebrows as they got lost in their thoughts.
"Who is your dad?" Ushijima's voice came out flat.
"He's got curly hair like us," Satoshi smiled.
"He wears a mask," Hacchin added.
Sakusa Kiyoomi? Then that means...
"Your mother is Matsuragi Michiko," he stated.
"Woah, Mama's name is so cool," the boys' eyes sparkled.
Ushijima felt a slight tug at the corner of his lips as he could see the resemblance between the twins and their mother. The sparkle in their eyes was the same sparkle Michiko had when she had first met him when they were kids. Her six-year-old self was amazed at the fact that Ushijima was left-handed.
"Satoshi, Hacchin," a voice called out.
The twins turned around with wide grins, "Hi, Daddy!"
"I should really stop leaving you two with your Uncle Atsumu. He always ends up losing you," Sakusa sighed.
Ushijima lifted his gaze to the curly-headed man, "Sakusa."
"Ushijima," Sakusa greeted back.
The two stared at one another. There was a subtle air of tension, and somehow, the twins felt it as they looked between their father and Ushijima.
"Uh, Waka Waka," Satoshi called out, "how do you know Daddy?"
Sakusa quietly snickered at the nickname.
"You could say we're rivals," Ushijima answered bluntly.
Satoshi and Hacchin tilted their heads. They didn't know the meaning of what being a rival was, so they shrugged in response.
"We gotta go find Toto," Hacchin announced.
"Bye Daddy, bye Waka Waka," Satoshi waved off.
The twins grinned as they skipped along to go meet Kageyama.
