2018 — a few months before Michiko's awakening
Satoshi and Hacchin had been messily painting in the kitchen of Sakusa's apartment. Satoshi dragged his easel and turned it to show Hacchin his artwork.
"Look Hacchi, it's Sho Sho hitting a ball," Satoshi smiled.
Hacchin gasped, "It looks so good! You should give it to Sho Sho!"
Sakusa had been making the boys' sandwiches and briefly glanced over to look at Satoshi's easels. Sakusa almost snorted out loud at the sight. It was definitely Hinata alright. Just maybe a bootleg version of the outside hitter.
'Hinata' had spikey, orange hair that rivaled Goku's Super Saiyan hair. His body was a painted stick figure. The 'volleyball' looked like it was connected to Hinata's hands making it seem like he had one regular-sized hand and one that was on steroids.
Hacchin held up his artwork, "I made that animal thing for Daddy's team."
It was a jackal with big round eyes, quite contrary to the sharp angles of the MSBY Black Jackal logo.
"Hacchi, it looks so good!" Satoshi beamed.
"Really?" Hacchin glimmered with hope.
Satoshi rapidly nodded, "It's way better than Uncle Atsumu's drawing."
"His drawing looked like a donkey," Hacchin added.
"Here are your triangles," Sakusa set down two plates with perfectly cut sandwiches on the dining table.
"We gotta wash our hands," Satoshi said.
"We'll be back!" Hacchin gleamed.
Satoshi and Hacchin ran to the bathroom. They know that there's a sink right here in the kitchen... Sakusa sweatdropped. He went to grab two small juice boxes and set them next to the plates. Light padding of footsteps could be heard as the twins' giggling became louder.
"We're back!" Satoshi grinned.
"Ok," Sakusa smiled, "come on and eat."
Satoshi and Hacchin climbed into their seats and started munching on their sandwiches. They kind of looked like Michiko when they ate. It made Sakusa inwardly chuckled as he thought back to all of the times Michiko had been hangry when she didn't eat.
"Can ve bisit Mama foday?" Hacchin asked with a mouthful of food.
"Mhmm," Sakusa nodded, "try not to talk with your mouth full of food, you could choke."
