Ending 5: Hanabusa Aido

*(Y/N)'s P.O.V*

The door opened and light streamed in illuminating my figure but i didn't look up too absorbed in the shedding of my tears. I heard a gasp and then the rushing of feet, arms wrapped around me "oh lady (Y/N)" they whispered, it was Aido "my poor sweet lady (Y/N)" though in any other siuation i would've been embarrassed and pushed him away this time i allowed him to hold me. Nuzzling his face into my hair he rocked us back and forth to try and soothe my sobbing.

And believe it or not it worked, my sobs devolved into sniffles, hiccuping i turned to the blue eyed player who looked like he was in bliss i could imagine him thinking something like this 'i get to hold lady (Y/N) in my arms i'm so happy, she looks soo cute when she cries, ah! Those hiccups are adorable' etcetera etcetera. Lowering his gaze from lala land to me he smiled softly "come on my lady let's get you back" i didn't complain as he lifted me into his arms and carried me back.

Aido sat me down on my dressing table chair  and stood behind me, gathering my hair so it was all in the back he grabbed the hairbrush and softly ran it through my hair. He hummed happily as he continued to play with my locks "do you need help changing?" he asked i shook my head as he handed me a nightgown from my closet and i ushered me into the bathroom.

After changing i stepped back out and was guided to my bed before being tucked in "good night my lady" of course it wasn't night it was still day but he could tell i needed rest, just as he was about to walk out the door i whispered "i remember" that caught his attention. Closing the door he turned back around grabbing the chair from the dressing table and setting it aside the bed before sitting on it "what do you remember?" he asked the serious look on his face was rather odd to see but it kind of suited him.

"Everything" i replied "i remember, when i first met Kaname, i remember when i first met you and how i found you weird and never wanted to be around you ever again" he pouted at this and i laughed "i'm glad i was wrong, i remember dying" his face was now sympathetic and he took my hand "and i remember waking up naked on a table tubes and wires connected too my arms and legs, i remember the doctor who helped me and the ex head of the vampire hunter association how she would oorder them to experiment on me when she thought i couldn't hear".

Aido stroked the back of my hand with his free one as i continued "i remember that night in the woods you and Shiki drank my blood for the first time" he seemed a little guilty "and i remember as i was getting colder from blood loss how warm you seemed" i smiled to myself "i remember i used to wish sometimes that i could get that cold again just to feel that kind of warmth one more time" "i rememb-" Aido hushed me "that's enough i get it, you need rest (Y/N) get sme sleep okay?" he asked.

He stood about to let go of my hand when sleepily i called to him "stay with me...at least until i fall asleep" i he chuckled and nodded taking his seat once more as i closed my eyes. As i was about to drift off i felt a pair of lips on my forehead "i'll be here when you wake up" and like that i was out like a light.

~Timeskip~

As i opened my eyes the room was dark, i could clearly see the moon outside which meant i had been asleep for quite a while. As i looked to where Aido had been when i had fallen asleep like he had said he was still there reading a book, in the dark. Though since he wasn't exactly human and we couold pretty much see well in the dark like cats  so it wouldn't strain his eyes "how long was i asleep?" i asked.

Shocked Aido lifted his head to gaze at me "around 6 maybe 7 hours?" he shrugged "and you've stayed here this whole time?" he nodded "my lady asked me too". I rolled my eyes "Hanabusa honestly, drop the lady thing would you? It's just (Y/N) okay?" he laughed and nodded "of course (Y/N)" i nodded approvingly and sat up against the headboard.

Aido put the book aside to focus on me "i hate to ask you this but we're all dying to know...do you-...do you remember who you loved the most?" he asked, two be honest i was surprised at the question i knew someone would ask sooner or later "yes" i replied. Perking up and scooting to the edge of his seat Hanabusa spoke again "can you tell me who it is?" "hm...well he's a vampire" Hanabusa nodded "he's not a pureblood" he let out a sigh of relief "he was born a vampire" another relieved sigh "he's blonde" that narrowed it down incredibly, it was either Aido or Takuma.

He nodded leaning even closer desperate for an answer "and he has an 'A' in his name" that was a rather cruel hint actually since it didn't give anything away "and his name is...." Aido had leaned forward so much that he tipped the chair and fell face first onto the edge of the bed. I gasped and stuffled a laugh as he groaned and sat up properly blood dripping from his nose, he wiped it off with a handkerchief "and he's a clumsy idiot" that was what gave it away.

Standing up suddenly he threw his arms around me nuzzling his cheek into my own "i love you too~" i rolled my eyes but laughed anyway, yep, definitely an idiot.
