Chapter 3: Another?

A rythmatic beeping of a hear montor could be heard and a softer beeping from another one, the airtight metal doors opened and in came the Head of Vmpire Hunters for her daily check in. Walking in she stood in front of the closest slab and stared at the girl lying almost lifelessly on top "how is she?" the head asked her formal dress fluttering about as she made small movements. Gently she fanned her face making her Purple hair flow out of her face "she's stable, so far no signs of her waking up yet" the head doctor explained "do you have the vile?" she asked, the doctor nodded handing her a small vile of blood with a sad look in his face. Grinning the head removed the lid and poured the blood filled bile down her throat. Vampire blood...she uses it to mantain her beauty it was truly a sick practice but she was a powerful woman (or man...) no one went against her wishes.

Wiping some spilt blood from her chin with her finger she licked it off and handed the now empty glass vile back to the doctor "and the other subject?" she asked, the doctor sighed putting the vile down "she seems to be a lost cause, no signs of waking up very low signs of surviving the treatment" he shrugged "what is the treatment again?" she asked "as you requested we are fusing her werewolf blood with that of a pureblood vampire to make a hybrid...a beast. Like you said it will be the strongest of all creatures" he explained "what's the subjects name again?" the head asked "her name is...Ramona" he answered (remember her?...yeah i hated her too XD). The head smirked walking out of the room "i'll be back for my fix tomorrow, don't disappoint me, i'm sure you can take more from the girl" she chuckled walking out the door sutting behind her.

*???'s P.O.V*

I'm cold...so cold, what is this...where am i? Am i dead...more importantly...who am i? All i remember is a sacfrifice of some sort, i don't see anything in that memeory all that pops up is the word sacrifice. Who was sacrificed though? Do i know them? Was it someone i loved? Or was it me? There are so many questions but i can't remember anyone to answered them for me. I can't open my eyes my body aches, i feel so tired it won't hurt if i take a little nap right? I'm just...so tired...

*Author's P.O.V*

The heart monitor of the pureblood suddenly plummeted leaving only a few beats every couple seconds alerting the doctors. Running forward they grabbed whatever they could to raise the heart rate once again, the girl's skin already so cold she wasn't going to last very long like this. The doctors all kept their calm while mentally panicking "come on, come on, come on!" the head doctor yelled trying to get the girl back. The beeping slowed the stopped, all that could be heard was one long rather high pitched noise "we lost her!" he yelled, running over to the table where a defibrillator lay (those machines doctor's use to start the heart back up). Another doctor suirted some gel onto the two hand pieces, rubbing them together to spread the gel he pressed the machines to the girls chest "charging 200, clear!" he yelled.

A jolt of electricity ran through the two hand held devices, shocking the girl in the heart. Her chest pushed up and back down again, rubbing the hand helds back together he pressed them on her chest again "charging 250, CLEAR!" he yelled. Another wave of electricity went through the girl's chest cavity to her heart but it was another failed attempt "charge 300!" he ordered "300? But that can be fatal" one of the other doctors protested (i actually don't know itf this is true but please stay with it) "just do it!" he ordered. The doctor gulped but turned up the dial anyway "charging 300, CLEAR!!!" he yelled even louder as desperation clouded his mind.

Anxiousness was spread around the room as they stared at the heart montitor for any kind of sign that she was coming back. BEEP. Everyone stared shocked at the heart monitor as the line jolted up and down at the girl's heartbeat. Breath's ofb relief and cheers were heard all over the room "we did it...we saved her" the head doctor grinned putting the defibrillator handles back and turning the device off. Removing the mask he was inclined the wear he congratulated everyone "well done people" he sighed. Putting it back on he heard the intercom go off "i know you people aren't working, get back to it!" the voice of the yelled, everyone cringed at the order but carried on anyway. For now she was in the clear but who knows how long that will last, who is this girl? Where did she come from? What was this sacrifice she was talking about? More importantly...are you sure you want to get involved?

Sorry it's another short chapter but i wanted to update asap!
