Chapter 2-I Actually Made A Friend

After the first week of being at Wisteria, I got to know Scarlet a lot better. Since the first week is just new people showing up and getting settled in, we didn't have classes. So I used this to my advantage and tried to learn the school and my peers a bit better. I tried to talk to some of my classmates but started to panic before I even spoke. So yea no one knows me and I know no one. I figured out the entire school is 30 floors tall. The ground floor has the cafeteria, nurses' office, and main office with a few bathrooms. Every other floor has bathrooms on it and the bathrooms are HUGE. The 2nd floor is entirely dedicated to lockers. After that, the 3rd-10th floor is the normal classes where you just learn about history, math, and stuff like that. The 11th-15th floors are the dorms, each dorm holds 2 students, but if they have to they'll hold 3. The 16th and 20th floors are the music classes. Finally, the rest of the floors are used for magic training and there's a really REALLY big gym that has a button inside it that makes shields that protect the bleachers. Those shields are ONLY THERE for when someone wants to fight another student.

This week was the first week I would actually need to go to classes at Wisteria. Of course, I wanted to figure out where my classes were so when I got my schedule I started the quest to find my classes. A lot of other people had the same idea as me so there were a bunch of kids going up and down staircases. I swear I think I even saw a kid teleport. When I was going to go find the 5th period I saw something yellow and paste flew past me. I looked back to see who or what just flew by but it was just a bunch of kids. I kept on trying to find what was in the crowd but then out of nowhere some small girl came flying toward me at mock 3 and crashed into me. Both of us fell to the floor, and some people looked at us for a bit before walking away. The small girl got back up fairly quickly and said in a somewhat high-pitched voice "Hey sorry about that, couldn't stop in time, are you ok? Sorry I bumped into you! "She had light brown, short hair that looked extremely fluffy. She had circle wire glasses and dark brown overalls on. Under the overalls was a yellow and light brown long sleeve shirt. I said, "oh yeah it's fine, accidents happen, you know?" She stretched out her hand and helped me up. Once I had gotten my stuff she looked at me and her face lit up "Wait! You're that human that somehow got enrolled here aren't you?" She said it like it was a good thing. "Uh yeah I am I guess, but could you not say it so loud, I don't want to bring attention to myself..." It was true but I thought that I wasn't the only human here. The way she said it made it seem like this was the first time it has happened. "Oh ok sorry! Anyway, I've been trying to find you all day, since I thought you were just a rumor. Oh, wait, I should introduce myself! I'm Milinda, I'm a bee pixie ,I use any/all pronouns, and I really really like flowers, bees and lizards, nice to meet you!" She was all over the place and talked really fast. "Um, I'm Zena, nice to meet you too I guess." The rest of the day we walked around the school and talked with each other. We both became quick friends and we learned a lot about each other. We also learned that we had 3 classes together. At around 5:00 pm Scarlet came to join us and we all just walked around and talked together. For the first time in my entire life, I finally felt safe.
