I stared down the barrel of the pistol. I looked up at Alissa, she was breathing heavily and had the smuggest look on her face. As I stood there, I got an idea and said something that I knew would get me killed. I started Allisa square in the face, took a deep breath and said as calmly as I could. "Do It." Alissa was taken aback by this statement and stumbled back a bit. "You-What did you say?" Allisa said, backing away. I started walking towards her. "You heard me, I said do it. Pull the trigger, kill me right here right now." I stared her right in the face. She started sweating and then I saw it. Her eyes. I backed away once I got my information and booked it out the front door. "No WAIT!" I heard Milinda cry out from the house. As soon as I was out there was no turning back. I booked it into the woods, the way I thought I came here. It was like tunnel vision; all I knew was to run. I didn't even know who or what I was running from.
I stopped running after a while and was stuck in a clearing. I was admittedly lost. I sat down on a rock and contemplated my situation. I had just ran away from my friend's,friend's house, after said friend, which I personally thought wasn't who they said they were. I ran away because they threatened to kill me, turned into my werewolf form and threatened to kill them! Then I started to run away from...myself. I sat on the rock and stared at the sky. I cried. A sad and wholehearted cry. It was just too much, my entire life is too much at this point! I couldn't think straight. I just sat there and looked at the stars from the gaps in the branches. I started to calm down looking at all of the lights in the sky. Then I heard a Russell from the tree's and was on high alert in an instant. Oh god what if it's someone who works for HIM! No shut up, that guy's dead, remember he can't send people out to get us if he's dead! B-but what if he didn't die! - oh my god for the last time he's dead I- no you cracked his ribs in half he can't still be alive! While I was fighting with myself the rustling got louder and closer. Oh god it sounds like his footsteps! - "For the last time he's dead!" I accidentally said aloud. Oh, great now whoever came for me, probably "AlLiSsA '', is definitely going to shoot me! As I pace around the clear still wiping tears from my face I start to think of a plan while simultaneously panicking. Finally, I just give up, close my eyes, turn around and yell with my hands up "alright I give up! you win! Just-kill me already." I'm met with silence. I peek one of my eyes open and am met with an unexpected sight.
"Huh never thought I would meet another one of my kind tonight" the person said. I lowered my hands and stood there for a second processing the information I was given. In Front of me stood a tall werefox with ripped up clothes and leaves in their hair. I looked around to see if anyone else was around: nothing. I looked back at the werefox. "So, uh...you here to cry about your life too?" I asked awkwardly. A confused smile came over their face. "No not really, I mean I might cry myself to sleep tonight in my bed, but not here. Anyways I usually scout out the woods during the full moon to help any were-creatures' spirits of any kind find their way home. Oh shoot! I almost forgot to introduce myself!" They held out a hand for me to shake. "I'm Vixon! You can just call me Vix though." I backed away instinctively from the hand. "Alright you're not that much of a socialite, are you? Can you at least tell me why you're here?" as Vix put their hand away I flinched. "I-I'm...sorry-" my brain completely shut off. At that moment I just started crying on the spot. "Woah woah why are you crying kid? Did I say something wrong? Do you not have a name?" I crumpled into a ball next to a tree with Vixon coming to the ground with me. Vixon tried to calm me down, but it didn't help. At this point I started to calm down, but I couldn't really hear anything but ringing in my ears. "Hey you ok now. Can you tell me your name now?" I heard faintly in between the ringing. "My...name is-" then my hearing went blank. I knew I wasn't deaf, it was more like when you sit up too fast and your eyes start doing weird things. Imagine that but for your ears. I was still talking despite this, but I had no idea what I was saying. I think I also started crying again at one point but it's way too fuzzy to remember. This usually happens on full moons: panic then memory loss. I do know one thing though, when I inevitably stopped remembering, I felt safe.
