Chapter 16-Full Moon

I stood there in shock. I had always kept track of the moon cycle, but for some reason today was the day I forgot. "Um Zena, are you seriously ok?" I stood there not moving and whispered "do you have a basement?" Milinda Sounded confused "a ..what?" I turned around and said as steadily as I could "Do. You. have. A .Basement?" Milinda started looking nervous and laughed "this is a tree, silly! W-we don't have a basement." I was silent. "I'm leaving." I started walking to the door. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I turned around and before I knew it Alissa grabbed my arm and stared me dead in the eyes and said "You cannot under any circumstances go outside!" I yanked my arm away from her and yelled "Why not?! You're not any kind of a parental figure to me! Why in all of hell should I listen to you?!" I tried to stop myself from yelling but before I could say sorry Alissa yelled back "Then why are you listening to Milinda?! You met her like a month ago and don't even know who she is fully yet!" I was an inch away from fully snapping but somehow I kept it together. I could feel my brain ripping apart at this point and yelled "What in all of FUCK do you know about me?!-" I covered my mouth shut before I- well Lin could say anything else. Alissa looked at me disgusted and in a still tone said "Get. Out" Milinda tried interjecting "you can't just kick her out like that you know what comes out at night!-" Alissa flipped around and yelled "I don't care anymore! She isn't welcomed here!" The room stood silent. Alissa stood there confused. She cleared her throat and said again. "I said, she's not welcome here!" It was like she was talking to someone. Milinda looked like she was trying not to laugh. Alissa gave it up and said, still clearly agitated "fine you can stay here for the rest of the night but as soon as the sun comes up you're out. FOR GOOD." I was falling apart at the seams. Lin wanted to lunge forward and attack Alissa while I wanted to just hide in a guest room and cry. I wanted to cry so bad well that's what I did. I just stood their and silently cried. Alissa walked up toward me. "Huh, your friend here is really unresponsive, you sure she ain't keeping something from you?" she said looking toward Milinda. I still had my hands over my mouth and I looked at Milinda. We made eye contact and I uncovered my mouth and whispered under my breath "look at the calendar..." Milinda stood there for a second translating my lips. She finally got it and looked at the calendar. I could see her freeze in her tracks. "H-hey Alissa" Alissa sighed "what is it now! Can't you see I'm interrogating your friend?" she snapped "you uh...need to come here. I need to tell you something." Alissa eminently cut the attitude and said. "Oh uh ok." She walked over and they had a quiet conversation.

After the conversation. Alissa looked over at me. She made eye contact with me and started striding over to me. All I could do was just stand there. She finally got close enough to grab me and whispered to me. "You listen to me and you listen good. I don't know how the hell you're here. The magic in this house rejects any kind of disgusting creature like you. I want you to get out of my house or better yet keel over and die in the night. So it's either you get out or I kill you myself you disgusting degenerate werewolf-" that was the final straw. For the first time I could actually see what was happening while Lin took over. I couldn't do anything about it but I observed. Even though I couldn't really feel my body I knew I was in my werewolf form. I kicked her off of me and I landed on the ground. "Oh you're getting it now you little shit!" Alissa yelled. Alissa ran toward me and as she did I grabbed her by the throat. "Now let's turn the tables here. You listen to me. I'm in control now and that means I could kill you at any second I want. That other girl isn't coming back whether you like it or not. You're in my domain now. Bitch." I threw her down onto the ground and as soon as I did Alissa yelled "Code Red!" and immediately Mochi came down the stairs with a pistol. As soon as I saw the pistol I had control again. It was really weird. I just blinked and I could move my hands by my own will again. I looked up, down and all around still shocked about what just happened. I regained control without blacking out, that's never and I mean never happened before. While zoned out and bewildered Alissa pointed the gun at me. I looked up snapping out of it and I froze seeing the gun. I tried to move but I couldn't. I tried to get Lin to come back out but she was gone. All I could do was stand there and look down the barrel of the silver pistol.
