Shopping wasn't my favorite thing to do but Neela insisted that my wardrobe just wouldn't do. She was right of course. It wasnt that I had no taste or sense of style, it was just that my style was more on the comfy side but I had to fit in and she had plans.

I didn't feel comfortable at all with the tight short skirts that could hardly be called a skirt and revealing blouse with heels that would put Madonna to shame.

I let her though and made up my mind that I would do my best to fit in. I saw the girls that paraded Han and yeah I needed to look the part. I shook my head at Neela as she gave her approval and we were off to the next store.

"Neela I can't afford much more girlfriend."

"No worries I'm paying." She said as she waved her card at me. "Ok" I said in agreement.  I wondered briefly what it was they did to make money.  Everyone seemed to have a free flow of it.  Besides the way everyone dressed I noticed the money that was put into all these cars.  Cars decked out in sound and lighting systems not to mention the power under the hoods.

"So what is Hans' story anyway?" I asked as I pulled another shirt over my head.

"No one knows for sure. He has a troubled past. I think he was in trouble with the law at one point."

"Seriously?" I paused what I was doing.  Holding the shirt partly over my head.  The thought alone excited me. I was always a sucker for bad boys.

My mind immediately visualized Han with black leather pants and unzipped leather jacket with a gun in his hands. Mmm so sexy. Eeeck!!! The thought made my skin buzz.

"It doesn't matter he doesn't talk about his past and we don't ask. Besides he works for my family now so he's pretty much untouchable."

Oh right, Yakuza was it? I attempted to pronounce it properly. I had little knowledge about that sort of thing. Speaking of sexy mafia crazy vibes, Yakuza was a hot topic that she just didn't want to discuss.

"Oh come on!" I whined. "You never want to talk syndicate." I played as she just rolled her eyes nudging me with her shoulder.

"I wouldn't get too attached though, from what I've seen Han doesn't get held down for long. That's just how it is around here. Everyone's main focus is money and besides your only here for the summer so let's just have worry free fun. Promise."

I agreed.

"No here try this"...she urged as I stood to glimpse back at the mirror. My head tilting to get a better look.

"Um it's a bit short don't ya think."

"Its suppose to be Mira." She was getting frustrated as her brows flared up at me. "You need to learn to live a little."  She was enjoying the dress up a little more than expected.  It was nice to see her so happy and engaged.

"I know but cargo is so much more comfy."

"Sure but if you tell me you don't like this I'll dis-own you as a girlfriend." She admitted teasing me.

"No, it's sexy." I admitted. "I like the purple and black together. I love how the lace rides up underneath the other fabric."

All these designer clothes were above me but I could tell she was into it and she was having a great time so who am I to spoil her fun.

"But"..

"It's just not me". I sighed out a deep breath.

"It is while you're staying with me".

"Fine but I'm still buying the cargos." Not like I didn't already own three pairs.

"Boots are too high sorry I just don't want to be limping the whole time I'm here." I agreed on the knee high boots but my heels would stay flatside.
