She wouldn't shut up about it so I decided to take her to her parents shop in the middle of the night on the back of my Ducati. What a spectacular idea. It was a cold night and she of course complained about everything.

Most woman did complain alot so it was expected. She wasn't as bad as most if I was being honest. She wasn't needy or clingy or gossipy which was the reason I could stand her. She seemed high on pleasing me, went out of her way to seem agreeable to whatever seemed to make me happy.

It was a quiet night no one was around to tell us what we could or could not do.. I was thinking about breaking in until she gave me an annoyed look.

She holds the key up in view rolling her eyes at me as if I had already broken the law.

"Sorry habit." I whispered as I waited patiently for her to unlock the door.

I was more excited about the visit the second the lights came on. It was quiet at first and then once a few of the animals started to make sounds they all seemed to join in.

She made me feel comfortable as she held my hand and pulled me through each aisle. Giving me an explanation on why she liked each one, what was special about them and then a sadness came over her when she explained that some were going extinct.

It was the first time I realised how big her heart was. She was the type of person that generally put everyone else above herself if no other reason than because it made her feel good to do so.

We finally reached a big white cage that looked empty at first but clear in the back was a bird. He looked so lonely and I instantly felt connected like I could feel what he was feeling. A loneliness that only the tormented would appreciate. She reaches in to touch the bird, confident that it was also what the bird had wanted.

"No dont!"...she said uneasy but the bird walked up to her as if they had known one another in a past life or something.

"Wow she never let's anyone touch her."

She pulls her hand from the cage as the bird makes her way up to Miras shoulder. "What does she eat?"

"Here," Sakura brings a bowl to Mira and Mira feeds the bird.

"You look so calm with her. Almost happy." Sakura states as if almost jealous. "Only other person was able to make her calm like that was my granddad." "No one has been able to get close since he passed. We tried to sell her but"...she quieted as she shook her head almost remembering something sad.

"I've never had a pet." I said changing the heaviness that had just took place. "Can't even take care of myself." I quietly laughed. "I admit that sounded better in my head."

Sakura smiled and watched the two as if they were the most entertaining thing she had seen all week.

Then I drop her off at home and out of no where she asks me about DK.

"You love him?"

"The bird?" I asked trying to be stupid. I knew she wasn't talking about the bird. However DK was not something I was ready to discuss with her.

"No DK." Rolling her eyes again at my ignorance.

"Absolutely." I said

"But your not together."

"Sure we are, the only way we can be. And all this time your putting into me is a waste." She looked shocked at first. Almost embarrassed and then she looked relieved as if she had expected me to be difficult. Like she was waiting all night for me to disappoint her.

"Your not impossible you know?" She knew that if she didnt change the subject I would become even more difficult.

Maybe your not looking hard enough Sakura. I'm not a car that needs fixing. Some cars are just not treatable.
