"I just want to know what I did wrong, is that so hard. Remus Fucking Lupin just had to be such a charming guy and I just had to fall for him," Marigold said slamming her dorm room shut and plopping down onto her bed.

Two months of awkward stares and half-assed conversations was really starting to get on Marigold's nerves.

"Stupid fucking perfect face, soft brown eyes, and his big stupid smile," she said ripping her tie off as she looked up to notice that she wasn't the only one in the room.

Cassie and Marlene were sitting in Cassie's bed studying as Marigold marched into the room in a fit of rage.

"I find you've been slamming doors a lot lately" Cassie laughed as both Marlene and Marigold glared at her.

"You doing okay Mari?"

"Do you even have to ask?" She said gesturing to her untucked shirt and messy hair.

The two laughed as they saw her in her frantic state. It was weird seeing her care so much about other people's views and thoughts on her. For the past five years, Marigold had been in her own world, the only people she truly let live in it were her four friends. She never let herself get hurt, and she never gave people the chance to hurt her.

But she made an exception for the tall Gryffindor and his idiotic friends.

She wanted him in, she wanted him to see the madness and the beauty in her life. Marigold wanted him to take up every aspect of her world, from the way she studied to the way she drank her coffee. She wanted Remus Lupin to see every downfall and every victory in her life.

But was she wrong for wanting him to see her as more than what was just on the outside? She fancied him, she had made that very clear with how this whole affair unravelled, and she swore he had too.

But now she wasn't so sure.

She especially hated that she didn't have all the answers, she always knew everything, it was a gift. But Remus had so many walls put in place, so many that she had tried to knock down, but he never let her in. Now she was left with so many questions and no one to give her the answers.

"He's just so insufferable like he is dreamy and is perfect boyfriend material not to mention the fact that he has the sweetest personality. But I obviously did something to ruin whatever we had, or at least I think I did" she said, pacing around the room throwing her arms in the air. "Merlin! And the worst part is how worked up I am! Why am I so upset?"
