Love is such an unexpected feeling, it's nothing more than confusing.
It's a hard feeling to grasp, it's nearly inhuman, it's addictive. It can happen in the blink of an eye, suddenly 'i like' turns into more, into a feeling of longing like no other.

Falling in love felt more like gracefully floating in the eyes of some, in others it was a sense of drowning in sorrows. The feeling of being so infatuated by another that it almost takes the breath right from your lungs, the moments of realizing that the only way you feel most comfort is in the arms of your person.

Suddenly home isn't defined as four walls and a roof, it's your other half. The person who you want to stay up till the break of dawn, or have hushed conversation in the early morning with nothing up a a cup of coffee in hand. The moment their laughs start to sound more like music and their smile grows contagious.
Love is so much more than just a confusing feeling, it's messy and beautiful, you could even call it unpredictable.

But it comes with a price.

McGonagall led the group of seven, the whole friend group except for Marigold, through the corridors up to Dumbledore's personal wing. Her face was stone cold and emotionless as she whispered the password to his office. She looked back at the pure faces of her students, not ready to watch the innocence of their childhood drain from their sheltered eyes.

Lily's heart was beating in her chest, she had no idea what was about to happen, the last time she was called into this office her parents had passed, what's next?

"Welcome children, I'm sorry that I pulled you from your classes but I needed to discuss something with you all, I've already spoken to a few of your fellow peers about the matter," their headmaster said ushering for the group to take a seat.

Remus' eyes landed in the empty chair sitting next to him, confused as to why Mari wasn't present in the room.
She was one of the highest achieving students in the entire school, why wasn't she asked to join this meeting, surely ave could have been some sort of help to the issue Dumbledore wanted to discuss?

"I'd like to discuss a secret society I've established, one where people of all talents and ages come together to create protection for all types of blood statuses. As many of you know and have been affected by, blood supremacy is growing at rapid rates. The dark lord has an unbelievable amount of power over the current wizarding world, and I would like to try to put a stop to it, but I simply cannot do it alone" he said as he looks over to McGonagall who blankly stared at the wall not wanting to be apart of his plans to corrupt such young pupils.
