Marigold's hand subtly ran over the soft skin of Remus' cheek, her thumb located a larger scar that was placed ever so carefully on the high point of his cheekbone, she inched forward to place a small peck to the freshly healed cut.
He hummed and closed his eyes as she leaned her head on his chest, the two of them sat next to Peter on the Gryffindor common room couch, Marigold sat in a ball on Remus' lap to create room for the others who sat preoccupied in their own conversations.

"You guys disgust me" Sirius groaned into Benjy's shoulder watching the lovesick couple as they snuggled up to each other, a large smirk grew on Mari's face as she placed a kiss on her boyfriend's neck, not breaking eye contact with the raven-haired boy who visibly cringed at the pda.

"they're cute, let them be" Benjy hummed as he looked up at the couple who smiled at him before averting his attention back to his book.

Remus rested his eyes as Marigold ran her fingers through the curls at the back of his neck, her touch soft, careful not to hurt him. She could sense that he was still in pain from the full moon, knowing that he shouldn't have left Poppy's care so early before making sure he was fully healed, but as soon as he got the idea of sleeping in the comfort of his own dorm into his head, there was no way of convincing him otherwise. All Marigold could do was be gentle with him and hope he recovered on his own.

"It's like they're doing it just to bother me!" he yelped making his voice crack.
"We are" Remus mouthed to him with a grin plastered on his face, Sirius' jaw dropped as he threw his arms up in the air.

"I hate heterosexual people" he mumbled under his breath making Remus let out a chuckle into the crown of Mari's hair.

Two days away from their graduation, and all of them were equally excited and scared to no end at the idea of entering into the real world for the first time.
Most of them except for lily, Mari, and Cassie had already been registered into Europe's prestigious Auror training courses led by the well-known Mad-Eye Moody, a four-month programme designed to teach the group how to think like and fight against dark wizards.
Lily and Cassie had taken other paths, lily planned to join Marigold in the fall semester at St. Mungos. While Cassie was asked to travel internationally, from continent to continent recruiting and speaking with powerful wizards on behalf of the order alongside McGonagall and Dumbledore.

"It's one of our last nights and we are sat on the couches wasting our last few moments of sweet teenage freedom" James announced with his eyebrows furrowed, his classic thinking face displayed with a smirk as he stared at the red carpet.
