❝ Well Mr. Lupin there is quite a
bit of the fine details that you
don't know about me,
I'm not as boring as I present myself ❞
╰━ ⋅☾⋅ ━━✶━━ ⋅☽⋅ ━╯Mornings before the Marauders used to be quiet and tranquil, a time when the four girls would sit in peace and try to absorb every second of silence before the hectic school day. The silence was nice in the morning, Mari would read or finish off her homework, it was always a relaxing time, a de-stressor.
The sunlight peeking through the castle windows, and the sound of morning paper crinkling in every student's grasp filled the room as everyone woke themselves up for a day of learning.
But once you add the Marauders to the mix that's a whole different story.
"Nope, nope, nope I'm not going, Remus please tell your friends I will not be attending"
"listen here blondie, I'm gonna act like you referring to me as only Remus' friend didn't hurt me a little, but you don't get to pull your boy toy into this, I don't care if I have to drag you into that party with my bare hands but you will be there," Sirius said as he bit into Marigold's piece of toast placing it back down on her plate.
A disgusted look spread across her face as she gently shoved the bitten toast towards him, acting as if he has some sort of catching disease. He shoots her a glare as he shoves the toast in his mouth aggressively, almost threateningly.
"If it makes you feel any better I don't want to go either, but James said that my presence was mandatory," Remus said as he snaked his arm around her waist pulling her closer to his chest and away from the rabid looking Sirius.
"There are only two weeks before owls, I have no time to go to parties I should be studying! I know for a fact lily isn't going to go, so why should I? And Remus is not my boy toy" Remus nodded in agreement with her.
"Goldie locks, you need to loosen up a bit, it's gonna be fun, plus there will be whiskey," James said with a grin.
"Plus lily has already agreed to go," Sirius added with a smirk making Mari's brows furrow, at this point, Sirius' voice was enough to make her want to shove his face into the plate of waffles in front of him."Will you both quit it with stupid nicknames" she groaned as she leaned her forehead against Remus' shoulder.
"No" they replied in unison.
"Wait how did you convince lily to attend?" Remus asked taking a sip of his tea."The party starts at 7, and as soon as Lily found out Prongs was going she practically begged for an invite," Sirius said as he flashed a large grin.
