She had passed out. That was for sure. Otherwise she wouldn't be lying on a strange bed, in a strange place that smelled weird. It didn't smell like hospitals. Where was she? Her face hurt when she opened her eyes. It took her a while to recognize the place. It was the host room in the King's Mansion, Ken or Miller had shown it to her.
The girl sat down on the bed and felt ridiculously calm, suspecting she should be nervous for some reason. The pain from the stitches wasn't clearly gone. Why was she in that bed, in the first pl--?
The door flung wide open and a tall figure stepped in. At once, she wished she had been asleep. Gathering courage, she returned the hard look that came from the Raven's gaze.
"What the hell are you trying to do?" He growled.
Straight to the point.
"Maymm..." She had to open her mouth and to speak was difficult after a long time asleep. "I'm not, I'm not trying to do anything."
"Then, explain to me, Robber, why are you in one of my beds, in my rooms, in my house?! You want to extort me, don't you?"
"I owe you no explanation." She replied coolly. "But if you stop shouting, I will kindly..."
"It's MY HOUSE, I CAN YELL THE HELL I—"
"THEN, GET OUT OF HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE ME!!"
"NO, YOU GET OUTTA HERE, GET OUT, GET, OUT," Frantic, he pulled the sheets off the bed and threw them against the wall. Robin almost feared he would touch her, so she stood up hysterically.
"What the hell is wrong with—" She noticed his eyes moved crazily from her face to her stitches over and over again.
"What are you up to?" The Raven asked with a burning gaze.
Robin looked at him.
"Oh. My."
She burst into laughter.
"What's so funny, idiot?"
"HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!"
"Tell me!!"
"A-ha... a-ha-ha... ah..." She calmed down a bit. "I know, now, I know now, you, you're scared that I tell on you, aren't y—HA-HA-HA – that you're the one who caused this, right?" She pointed her stitches on her forehead. Maybe she was far from the truth, but she just had one shot left.
And then, Elliot's eyes looked terrified.
"You, bastard little brat!"
"And you're an asshole!" Robin exclaimed. "You should've thought it twice before messing up with me, Raven!"
She gave a step towards the door but he blocked her way. She tried to go round him but he grabbed her arms and roughly made her sit down on the bed, then he turned around to close the door...
... and she saw he had a head bandage too.
She sighed.
He could be a demon but, she had to admit, she didn't like to see someone hurt because of her.
"I... I'll pay you." The Raven said without turning around. Robin simply couldn't look at the back of his head; it felt like something stingy bothered her chest anytime she did. "So you shut up and go back to where you belong."
She grimaced, knowing he had had his fair revenge... fair, very fair.
"Miller told me you would work as a spy on me or something like that. Tell me how much he promised to pay and I'll double it and give it to you right now." His hands had turned into fists.
