Robin woke up. The couch wasn't nearly as comfortable as her bed but at least it was better than having to endure inside a room with Joy in it as well. Gosh.
To start the day with bad thoughts will make a hell of your day, Pa used to say.
Robin shook her head and waved away every thought. She had needed one of his hugs. She still needed it. She got up and fixed the couch so it didn't look like someone had slept there. Unluckily, she had forgotten how lovely Shane and Joy had looked together in that couch last night. Growling, she went upstairs to the toilet and it was a surprise that both grandmonster and Joy were awake. Robin tried not to feel afraid of them. Now that Pa wasn't around...
What's the worst they could do to me? I've got nothing to lose.
Everything was almost normal, though. Joy greeted her normally and went to school after breakfast. Robin had to complete a formulary to start swimming classes at Roslow and then, she went to the kitchen to get her breakfast...
... and the door was locked.
Didn't see this one coming.
Grandmonster was about go out too, since Pa's nurse had arrived, and before Robin could ask what was happening, she showed her the kitchen's door's key and dropped them inside her pocket.
"Next time, think twice." Was all the woman said with her cold gaze. Robin's throat dried and her stomach growled. "Now, where's the money for your grandfather's nurse?"
Robin simply couldn't shake off her shock.
"I barely had a week in my j... job."
Right... her job. The Raven. She had completely forgotten about that.
"I don't care what you're doing, but I want that money as soon as you get it, you hear me?"
Robin, feeling too weak, could only nod and grab her bag and go out of the house. The strong breeze of autumn punched her face. She had to narrow her eyes so she could focus her view on the road, wishing she could buy a car when she got enough money...
Splash.
She had stepped on a pool. Last night had rained.
"GODDAMMIT!!" She exclaimed with a voice full of heavy fury, causing many heads to turn around to her. "What else!? Huh!?" Swearing under her breath and ignoring the strangers who stared at her with surprise, the girl continued her way to Roslow with one wet and dirty foot.
Pa, you were absolutely right about bad thoughts making a hell of my day. She would tell him that when he finally opened his eyes. Well, the day had recently started and that sort of terrified her.
When she entered Roslow, it seemed weird not to see many grey dressed people. Most of the GRI ladies were there at the large yard after the entrance. The girl simply went by the wide road that led to the MRI and after a few seconds, she saw many grey dressed kids gathered in one place. Robin opened her way through them and gasped. A chubby girl wearing the MRI uniform, apparently younger than her, was against a lamp post, terrified and staring at four BRI Ravens. In her hands she had a (delicious looking) sandwich, already bitten. Robin's heart stopped when she saw the Ravens had a hostile attitude.
"So you think you can enter to our cafeteria and get the same food we have, don't you?" One of them said. He had short light brown hair and a pair of big eyes that were intimidating. Robin had never seen him. He spoke loud enough for everyone to hear.
This is just a show. A stupid show.
"I... I didn't... I'm new..." The girl, about to faint, weakly replied.
