Good day everyone. I know that I had set aside this story for too long, mainly because I'm not happy with my first idea. I was aiming for a happy ending with fluff and all but that's a bit of impossible due how things developed with he characters.
And I finally got an idea and I figured it when I went back to watching Aot Season 3 (I stopped before because life wanted me to concentrate on life) And watched Nifa got headshot. *Sigh*
Anyways, I already plan out the ending and it would be posted here shorty after this one. This fic will end in 20 chapters in total and maybe the last chapter will be a bit longer. Also, I'll try to edit this from chapter one until the end for a better read.
Thank you so much for supporting me and looking forward to all my works! Even though this is one is very angsty, painful and very different to the ones I wrote.
Enjoy!

It was noon when I woke up, disoriented with my surroundings. I scramble to sit upright while massaging the pain that stabbing my head.
The mattress below me was soft, unlike my bed in the apartment.
Then, I remembered. Everything.
Eren patched me up, took me to go drinking, and invited me to sleep in his house. The white mansion.
I rubbed the sleep off my eyes and allowed my vision to adjust at the blinding light that came from the huge window in the room.
"Ugh," I groaned and shook the head. Fucking hangover, this was the reason why I didn't drink. I had no idea how my uncle manage hangovers since he's always drunk. I doubt Kenny even had a hangover.
I looked up and scanned my surroundings. Fuck this, I thought my room in the apartment was shit. The room that Eren lend me was the worst. Faded wallpapers, ripped curtains that barely blocked the sun's rays and one of the glass panes had a crack on it. Though it was clean and the bed was nice. That's the only reason why I didn't walk off after I saw the room.
The knock from the door only made my headache worst. "What?!" I snapped.
"It's me. I had painkillers," Eren's deep voice came from the other side of the door.
I found myself smiling a little. "Come in."
Eren came into the room with a frown. He had a tray in his hands with pills and a glass of water.
I offered him a small smile but he didn't return it. "Thank you."
Eren set down the tray on the bedside table, I quickly popped the pills and drown the water. I just wanted this stupid headache out of my head as possible.
"How was your back?" Eren asked, his green eyes held uncertainty but he managed to pull off his professional mask.
"It kinda stings when I tried to sit up," I winced when I tried to stretch my arms up.
"Don't do that," Eren almost whispered as he placed his hand on the raven's arms and pushed it down. "Don't strain it too much. Let's me take a look at your injuries."
I was silent as Eren checked my back and applied ointment on my back. He ran a few tests and gave me a few bills.
"Buy yourself a good breakfast. You need to eat to heal faster," Eren said with sadness in his voice as he scribbled on his notes. When he was finished writing, he ripped the note and passed it to me.
I peered at the list of medicine with Eren's signature at the bottom. "Thanks, but-"
"Leave. Buy yourself a meal and get all the medicine. You need to take one of them three times a day, after each meal," Eren instructed and pointed at the list.
