This is back to the main story. Sorry to everyone who was waiting for the next part of the Valentine's Day special. I archived it cause I wanted to get back to the main story without having to get through that extra first. Once the main story is done, maybe I'll upload it again >:] Also, apologies in advance for my crappy writing. This really is quantity over quality TT

If you were to not see the scene currently unfolding, but only hear it, you'd think a stampede of rhinos were coming your way.

Both Felix and Chan rushed out of the boy's bedroom quicker than kids running for an ice cream truck. Neither of them said anything when they saw the car roll into the driveway. Beyond terrified, they just knew they had to get outside as quickly as possible, even if they didn't exactly have a plan on what they were going to do. Without a word, they fumbled down the stairs and out the front door.

Once they were out, there was an amazing sight. Horrifying, yet amazing. A flurry of pink cards fluttering down in the air. They had rushed out so fast, there were still a few cards floating down from the air, like some sort of janky sakura tree viewing.

Felix's mother looks out her car door window to see the this strange flurry, confused to say the least. She then sees Felix running towards the car at an alarming rate.

"There you are Felix. What is all th-" Felix's mother stops midway getting out of her car as she sees an extra head popping out from behind her son. She holds her breath, as she begins to recognize the uninvited guest.

"Felix. What's going on here...?" She turns to Felix, who looks to be rolling around in the front lawn. Not having the energy to question him and not receiving an answer either, she turns to the other boy present. Though, he seems to be rolling around her driveway.

"Can someone please tell me what in the world is going on right now?" She raises her voice and shuts the car door.

Felix manages to collect all the cards scattered in the grass with amazing agility. He pops up to his feet with his back to his mom. Without much thought, he shoves them into his pants, hoping his mom doesn't question the strange sight.

"Mom! Hi! How was your day! You see, um, you know, um-"

"Felix I am incredibly lost as to what's going on here. Could you please just tell me why this young man is here and why he's crawling underneath my car?"

"Ack-" Chan bumps his head on his way out from under the car, then fixes his disheveled clothes.

"Ahem. Um. H-Hi, Mrs. Lee!" Chan extends his hand that isn't shoving cards into his pocket. 

"*cough* It's Ms. *cough*" Felix not so subtly adds.

"R-Right." He retracts his hand awkwardly as he doesn't see Felix's mom reaching her hand out.

"Um. Anyways. I was just stopping by to, um, check on Felix. Y'know, it's just, um, been a while since we last talked so I just thought maybe I should see how he's doing and all and yeah just catch up on stuff and not do anything strange cause that's not what I do cause I'm not a suspicious person hahaha just a guy coming to check up on his mate and all so yea-" 

"You don't have to say anything else. I see." She cuts his rambling off, sensing that he'd go on forever if she hadn't. She holds her hand to her forehead and rubs her temples.

"Felix, please grab the groceries from the car."

"Y-Yeah, sure..." Felix walks around the car, keeping his eye on the other two as they stand in their places. To him, it was like a vulture eyeing down a frightened puppy.
