"H-Hey mom." Felix hurriedly says as he switches positions awkwardly while leaning on the stair banister.

"Hi Hon. Listen..." His mom says as she places her purse down.

"Y-Yeah?"

"I want to talk with you about last night. It was childish of me to walk away from you like that. I was hurt by the fact that you felt like you needed to hide that you went back to the dance studio." She goes on as she makes her way to the living room to sit, Felix automatically following.

"I'm your mom, you understand what that means, right?" She continues as they both sit on the couch.

"I want to support you, and I also want the best for your future. I'm just not sure that you dancing is going to help in any way. Hey, talk to me, I'll listen to you, that's what a mom is for." Felix's mom reaches her hands out for her son's.

Felix has his gaze fixed on her hands and wants to believe his mother is doing what's best for him. Unbelievably so. Yet, there was still a part in him that doesn't have enough faith in her. Guilt overtakes him by that fact.

I should trust my mom.

"Felix? Please say something." His mom lowers her head to try and look him in his eyes.

"I'm sorry mom. I'm sorry." Felix mumbles out.

"Hon, it's alright." She wraps her arms around her son. His breathing starts speeding up.

"I'm sorry,"

For being a terrible son and a disappointment to everyone.

"Shhhh, it's okay, Hon. Calm down."

The pair sat there on the couch without any lights on until Felix caught his breath. You wouldn't believe how much the boy wanted to cry, yet he was unable to. Something in him wouldn't allow tears to come.

"I'm going to start on dinner, alright?" Felix's mom pulls away from him and sweeps his hair away from over his eyes.

"Okay. Mom...!" Felix calls out to his mother.

"Yes, Felix?" She looks back at her son.

"I-I... won't go back to the studio for a while."

"It's what's for the best. I love you Felix."

"I love you too mom." Felix doesn't have it in him to fight this battle, he's just glad with his mom loving him.

I won't bring up the tickets now...

Ding!...Ding!...Ding!...

"Isn't it Saturday...?" Felix murmurs into his pillow. He swings his head towards his phone and sees new notifications.

Stray Kids

"Only a few more days! See ya in Sydney, Stay!"

"Oh yeah..." Felix has momentary war flashbacks to when he purchased the tickets.

What am I going to do! I can't just waltz into the concert and expect them to remember me! I have to wear something that'll cover my face but won't be too suspicious. I don't want to draw too much attention. Or do I? Maybe then they'll see me and we can be friends-

AHHHHH! It's too early in the morning to think about these things!

Felix looks as his phone again and notices that it's 8:00 am.
