Ahh, the dance studio. Haven't been here in a while.

Felix walks up to the small building and stops just beyond the door. He waits a second to take it all in, the small amount of it. Just seeing the studio was like a breath of fresh air to the boy. His mind seemed clearer than it has been in a while. He doesn't want to think about anything at this moment. Not Stray Kids, not him mom, not anybody. This was his time.

Ding ding!

The front door has a little bell ring when he enters. Something new they added since the last time he was there. When Felix walks in, the number of people seemed to look about half the amount as when he last came. To be honest, the dance studio was never the nicest place, but it fit Felix's requirements. A place where he could dance without anyone else's opinions. Even if he just needed to get a good Fortnite dance out, he could.

"Oh my god! Felix?!" His head swings to the right and notices his old dance friend, Chloe. He almost forgot about her. He starts feeling guilty for forgetting his friend.

"Chloe, how are you." Felix walks over to her and puts a stiff smile on his face. Not that he wasn't happy to see her, but he really wanted to be alone at the moment.

"Fine, fine... but where have you been?" Chloe  goes to hug Felix.

"Uh... y'know. I just haven't been in the mood to dance recently..." Felix pulls apart from his friend and looks elsewhere.

"Oh. Right. So... are you here to dance today?"

"Yeah, I thought it'd be a good time to start again."

"Oh I'm sorry! You probably don't want to be bothered right now. I'll leave you to your peace. The practice room 3 is free right now. 5 and 6 are free as well." Chloe steps back. She was the daughter of the couple that owned the studio.

"Oh, I see. I'll take room 3 then." Usually all the rooms would be in use. Felix remembers having to sometimes share the practice rooms. The sound of different songs was completely distracting, almost as distracting as the presences of another in the room.

"Alright. Go right ahead. I'll be here greeting people when they come in. Not that I greet many..." Chloe mumbles the last part.

"Here! Take this!" Chloe puts a rubber bracelet on Felix's wrist with the studio name on it.

"We're trying any method we can to get more people to show up."

"O-Oh... thanks." Felix awkwardly turns and goes towards the practice room.

What an idiot! You should have said something better than 'Oh' and 'thanks' ! Stupid stupid stupid...

When Felix opens the door, he is immediately hit with the feeling of reminiscence. He used to spend hours a day here after school, that was the only time he could without his mom getting upset.

He makes a beeline for the speaker to attach his phone and put his playlist on shuffle. The music instantly relieves his stress.

Felix starts doing some stretching and a few exercises to warm him body up. It's been a while since the last time so his body feels a bit rusty. Despite the aching of his joints, his body starts responding to the music. As the speakers play through his infinite playlist, Felix feels a sense of relief. All his worries disappear and all that's left in his mind is the music and the feeling of his body gliding.

He's in a state of euphoria as he crosses the floor, sweat dripping from his temples. A smile automatically appears on his face and electricity forms in his blood.

Completely unaware of his surroundings, Felix is startled when the music stops and his phone starts ringing. He picks up his phone and sees that his mom is calling.

Shit!

"H-Hi mom!" Felix tries to steady his breathing so his mom doesn't suspect anything.

"Hey Hon. I'm gonna be getting home earlier than I expected! I'll be home in an hour so we can eat dinner together."

I still have to go grocery shopping!

"Great! A-Alright then... I'm just gonna um... start making dinner?" Felix starts spewing words as he collects his things.

"Ooh what're you making?" His mom asks.

"Uh, y'know... um... pasta?" Felix waves to Chloe on his way out and then puts a finger to his lips so she doesn't talk. She understands and waves back. She was used to this. Felix's mom never really liked him spending too much time at the studio so when Felix used to rush out of the practice room, Chloe knew it was his mom.

"Yum! Alrighty then, I gotta hang up now. I'm getting into the car, bye sweetie!"

"Okay, bye mom." Felix hangs up the phone than dashes for the grocery store to pick up a pack of spaghetti, pre-made sauce and some random groceries.

Felix makes it home with 20 minutes to spare after flying through the store. He drops the groceries on the counter and runs upstairs for a shower. He was covered in sweat and him mom would become suspicious if he was looking like a mop.

He was out of the shower and fully dressed in 7 minutes flat. Leaving 13 minutes to cook the pasta.

Felix's mom was always very punctual so he knew his timing had to be precise. He starts boiling a large pot of water and heating up the sauce in a small pan.

"Boil already!" He yells frantically at the water, as if it would boil quicker with his yelling. He tries sending brainwaves to the water, telling it to hurry the hell up.

"Friggity frick!" Felix exclaims as he splashes scorching water on his hands when he dumps the pasta in the pot.

The 13 minutes that Felix had flew by like seconds. Thankfully, he managed to have the pasta plated, maybe not neatly, but plated nonetheless. He places the bowls on the kitchen table just as he hears him moms car pull up in the driveway.

"Hell yeah!" Felix congratulates himself for getting dinner prepared.

The rest of the night goes well. His mom and he were eating dinner peacefully and his mom didn't suspect a thing.

"Thanks for dinner, Hon. I didn't eat lunch so I was starving."

"No problem." Felix says, twirling some spaghetti on his fork.

His mom was about to take a bite of the spaghetti twirled on her fork, but she stops it before entering her mouth. Felix notices and stops as well.

"Felix, what's that on your wrist?" His mom puts her fork down and switches her gaze from Felix to his wrist. Felix looks as well and sees that he forgot to take off the bracelet Chloe gave him at the studio.
