Among every single event that has happened as of yet, I hope everyone is safe while still activity participating in spreading the word about racism and injustices regarding people of colour. No one is worth any less than the next based on their race, religion, gender or sexual identity. The idea that people truly believe in this is truly disturbing. Racism and prejudice against people of colour has been rooted in society since long ago and needs to change now. The colour of ones skin does not change the fact that they are still human and have every right to live freely as the next human being.  I don't know how many people will stop to read this, but please make sure to sign any petitions you can. Many aren't able to donate money themselves, but these petitions are free to sign and can help many. Please take a small amount of your time to sign these petitions or donate to other organizations. Instead of reading this chapter, you could take that same time to sign at least one of these. I am not black myself, I have not been through what many have been through, but that doesn't change the fact that I stand beside anyone who isn't being given the justice or respect that they deserve. This matter can't be taken lightly if what we want is change. Don't turn a blind eye. Help where you can and listen to those who won't be listened to.

Sorry for being so inactive with updates recently. Here's another chapter to hopefully bring you a bit of leisure.

Chan Focus

"Bangchan! It's already Friday! Stop moping around and get out of there already!" Changbin yells through the door.

Chan had locked himself in his hotel room for days now. Only coming out to ask for food or go out for some fresh air. He kept telling himself that it was a childish and un-leader like thing to do, but he couldn't help the lifelessness inside himself. He didn't want the members to see him; even if that meant hiding away. Anything would be better than the disappointment they'd have in him. This is of course, only what Bangchan thought. The members all wanted the best for him, not as a leader, but as a friend.

"Changbin, that's not helping..." Minho sighs and grabs Changbin's arm in hopes that he doesn't begin knocking on the door obnoxiously.

"He has to come out of there eventually. How are we supposed to do anything if we don't have the leader with us? Huh? And what the hell is this about?" Changbin angrily rips a sheet of paper that was taped to the door. In bold letters it has written on it 'PLEASE DON'T COME IN, SORRY'

"Guys, he's probably just having a hard time cause of everything that happed a few nights ago, y'know? We can't blame him for that either." Jisung says from behind the other two.

"The only thing we can do is let him know we're here for him and maybe we can cheer him up with some laughter. Oh! I can say some jokes to brighten the mood-"

"Not now Jisung, we're trying to figure out how to help Chan." Changbin interrupted.

"Did you not just listen to a word I said?!" Jisung yells.

"No. I don't listen to the words that come out of your mouth."

"Why you little piece of-"

"Alright, that's enough, both of you. Let's just go and leave him alone for now." Minho pushes the two down the hall and leads them away from Chan's room. They continue to bicker on the way.

...

"Finally, they left." The disheveled leader says as he peeks through the peephole.

"Those two need to stop fighting." He groggily says out and sits on the bed.

Despite not coming into contact with the other members for days, he hadn't been completely neglecting the group. Chan had managed to write a song or two while he locked himself away. After the first day or so, he figured that he had to do something productive. Of course, they were melancholic songs with inspiration from his own experience. Once he finished writing those songs, he began to spiral even further. Not necessarily for the worst though, it was a different kind of spiral than the usual dark and hopeless one. Instead, he was beginning to think more and more about Felix with the intent of finding him. As time passed, Chan had begun to look for more information about Felix online.

"This makes me feel no better than some creepy stalker. Felix would probably freak if he found out I was acting like this." His thoughts come out as he scrolls through Felix's list of followers and the people he followed. To Chan's surprise, Felix was still following the Stray Kids official account. He thought for sure that Felix would have deleted all traces of himself.

Chan still remembered Felix's town where he lived from when Felix had told him during their training together. They immediately bonded over their memories from Sydney. During times of pressure and uncertainty, Chan always knew he could talk it out with  Felix. He thought Felix would always be by his side, ready to hear his problems and concerns. But that was not the reality they were living now.

I should've fought harder. I should still fight. Why don't I...?

Looking back at his phone screen, Chan sees Felix's picture. As though that was all he needed to drag him back to reality, Chan stood up on his feet.

"I'm an idiot! I'll just go find him myself! We'll still here for a couple of days. There's plenty of time for me to see Felix and have a real conversation with him." Bursting with new found adrenaline, Chan searches for his key card and puts on a baseball cap.

"Wait, should I shower first? Damn, I can't see him looking like this!" Chan whips the hat off and rushes to the bathroom so he can quickly shower.

After cleaning his appearance up a bit, Chan cautiously opens his hotel room door. He looks both ways, hoping that no one's there. The coast seems clear so he proceeds to scurry down the hallway towards the elevator. He lets out a sigh of relief once he gets into the elevator and the doors shut.

Unfortunately for Chan... Hyunjin and Changbin were close behind.

"See? I told you something was up." Changbin points out.

"Yeah yeah. This better be something serious or else everyone's gonna yell at you for doing this." Hyunjin peaks out from around the corner. They had snuck out from where everyone else was to check up on Bangchan because Changbin had a feeling something wasn't right.

"Yes, I know- Wait, what do you mean everyone's gonna yell at me? What about you? You're here too!" They begin walking towards the elevators.

"No, I was coerced by you to be here." Hyunjin retorts and presses the down button.

"Oh right, sure. We both know you want whatever information you can get." They both get into the next elevator that opens up.

"Shut up. Let's just go get Bangchan and bring him back so we can proceed with our lives." Hyunjin crosses his arms with a huff.

"My thoughts exactly." Changbin lets the issue go, hoping to find out where their leader is headed to.

With that, the elevator doors close.
