Seungmin POV

I snapped open a bottle of water as I plopped down on one of the benches during baseball practice. Coach Oh had called for a break and I gladly accepted it. I kept messing up during practice since my mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Yeeun. Why did I ask her that? I'm such an idiot.

I mentally hit myself as I thought back on what happened.
"Why would you ask her if she's going?" I mumbled before running a hand through my hair in frustration.

"What's wrong with you today?" Yisung, one of the guys on the team asked as he sat beside me.

I shook my head as I let out a sigh. "It's nothing. I just have something on my mind."

He patted my back reassuringly, "Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll work out. Don't stress yourself."

I nodded as he stood up and motioned for me to follow since break was almost over. I took a deep breath before getting up and following him back onto the field.

After practice I picked up my phone to see a few messages from Felix and Yeeun.

I shook my head before looking at Yeeun's message.

"What's wrong with me? I just made myself look like a fool." I put my phone down and buried my face in my hands.

A moment later, I looked at the time before picking up my bag. "I'm gonna be late for the study session if I keep worrying about this," I mumbled to myself as I headed out.

The study session was quieter than usual today. Most of the time the students were busy asking for help, but for some reason everyone seemed to be in their own world.
