Minho POV

I arrived at school quite early today. With the amount of times I'd been running late this week, I figured it'd be a good idea to come early for once. I slowly walked down the hallway, taking my time to reach the classroom.

Once I was met with the large wood door, I slid it open and looked inside. To my surprise the only person in the room was Yeeun. Why is she alone? It seemed like she was studying, but once I got closer I noticed that she was fast asleep. I walked over to my desk before taking off my backpack and sitting down.

Not bothering to pull out my books, I propped my arm on the desk, my cheek resting in the palm of my hand. The sight of Yeeun sleeping couldn't be more shocking than anything. I assumed the only thing she did was keep her nose in a book. Looks like she's been studying too hard.

She moved a bit as there was a slight disturbance in her sleep. A small section of her hair fluttered over her face. Before I knew it I found myself gently brushing the scattered strands out of her face with my fingertips.

I quickly sat up and pulled out my earbuds as the sound of Felix's voice could be heard down the hall. I put them on and pretended as if I was looking for a song to listen to. I aimlessly scrolled through my library as Seungmin and Felix walked in.

I looked up and exchanged waves with them before they walked to their seats. Ah, I'll just take a nap before class starts.

Seungmin POV

"How come you didn't tell me Wonhyuk and Yeeun were siblings?" I asked Felix as we walked down the hall.

He ignored my question, trying to change the subject. "Do you think we're the first ones here today?" He asked, averting my eyes.

I let out a sigh and decided to just let it be. What's done is done and there was no way to change what happened. I would've found out one way or another. Felix and I continued walking down the hall towards our classroom in silence. He happily skipped alongside me as students would pass by occasionally.

"Hey Seungmin, let's hang out today. I wanna have fun!" He smiled joyfully.

"I'm busy studying, maybe another time," I responded as we reached the classroom. We walked inside to see Yeeun and Minho at their seats. Felix and I exchanged greetings with Minho before walking towards my desk.

Mrs. Lim had just finished announcing our big project for the year. We were assigned to work with our volunteer partner to take photos of 'our school days.' She explained how there was more to the phrase than it seemed. I thought long and hard about the meaning behind the phrase. Whether it was more on a personal level, or if it was meant to describe the students as a whole.

As I pondered what it could be, the sound of the bell rang through my ears. It was the end of study hall and all the kids were happily dashing out the door, trying to make it to the cafeteria before the lunch bell rang. Felix could be seen making his way toward me.

"So what do you think the meaning of the project is?" Felix asked as took a seat beside me.

"I'm not sure, but it's definitely not literal," I answered.

He nodded. "I'm just gonna take pics of Jiyeon and me having fun."

I looked at him as he doodled on his notebook happily. "Do you like Jiyeon?" He quickly put his pen down and covered my mouth as he looked around the classroom.

"Shh, what if people hear you," he whispered.

I took his hand off my mouth, "So you do."

"Yeah...I do," I chuckled as he sunk into his seat, his cheeks turning pink.

The bell for lunch rang and the remaining students hurriedly made their way out of the classroom. As Felix and I were about to stand up, Jiyeon and Yeeun stood before us. "Do you guys wanna have lunch together? We can talk about the project," Jiyeon said.

I nodded, looking at Felix to see what he thought. "Sure, let's go!" He sprung up and walked out the door happily chatting with Jiyeon.

"Are you coming?" Yeeun asked, glancing over at me. I quickly stood up and made my way toward her. We walked down the hall silently, neither of us having anything to say.

We got our food and situated ourselves at an empty table. Yeeun sat beside me, while Felix and Jiyeon sat side by side across from us. "Do you have any ideas for the project?" Yeeun asked as she took a sip of her drink.

"I'm actually into photography so I can take the pictures if you want me to. I'm not really sure what we'll take pictures of though," I answered.

She took a bite of her food, pondering about what we could do. "Alright, you can take the photos and I'll try to come up with something."

Before we could continue, Felix fanned his hand in front of us to get our attention. We both looked at him questioningly. "You guys wanna hang out after school? Studying is not an option bookworms."

"I'm fine with it," Yeeun answered.

Felix clasped his hands together, "Great! Then you're coming too right, Seungmin? I can't wait, we're gonna have so much fun," he squealed as him and Jiyeon high-fived each other.

"What are they up to?" I whispered to Yeeun.

She looked at them and shook her head. "I don't know but I have a bad feeling about this."

I furrowed my eyebrows, turning to her. "Then why did you agree to it?"

She simply shrugged. "I promised Wonhyuk I'd stop studying so much. And before you question why I listened to him, he said he'd give me $500 if I learn to do other things besides studying."

"Fair enough," I responded before finishing the food in front of me. Although Yeeun had said we could be friends, it was still strange being able to converse with her so easily. If we're friends does that mean she doesn't see me as her rival anymore?
