Yeeun POV

"So~ You and Seungmin seem to be hitting it off," Jiyeon smirked as she continuously poked on my shoulder.

I rolled my eyes. "And how does it seem that way?"

"Oh come on, you literally said you became friends with the guy. If that doesn't mean you're somewhat into him then I don't know what does," she crossed her arms.

I furrowed my brows. "So I can't be friends with people of the opposite sex?"

She shook her head. "You can, but not when it comes to him."

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Before she could utter a word, Minho propped his head up and turned to us.

He looked at the both of us as we waited for him to speak. He stared at me with an unreadable expression. His eyes seemed to be full of curiosity and worry. "Is there something wrong?" I tilted my head as I raised a brow at him.

He turned to Jiyeon without answering my question. "You and Felix seem to be hitting it off. When do y'all plan on telling us the good news?"

Her eyes widened a bit as her mouth fell agape in shock. Her eyes wandered around from the sudden question Minho threw at her. The pink tint forming on her cheeks couldn't be missed as she cleared her throat. "W-what are you talking about?"

He simply shook his head before turning to me. "Are you interested in spending time with me after school? I have to run an errand and you're the perfect person to help me."

I looked at Jiyeon and she shrugged a little. I didn't have anything planned for today besides studying, but I didn't mind helping Minho. "Sure, what are we doing?"

The corners of his lips rose slightly as I agreed. "I'll tell you later." He quickly turned away, putting his head down to continue his daily nap.

Jiyeon stared at me for a moment before repeatedly pointing at her phone while looking at me with wide eyes. I furrowed my brows, pulling out my phone. A jumble of notifications popped up as she spammed me with messages. I unlocked my phone to see why she couldn't tell me what she wanted to say out loud.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say," Jiyeon rolled her eyes. She put her phone down before looking me straight in the eye. "I know you like him. You just don't want to admit it," she crossed her arms.

Felix took a seat with an amused expression on his face. "Yeeun likes someone? Who is it?" He looked back and forth between the two of us excitedly. Meanwhile, I shot a glare at Jiyeon warning her not to say a word.

She let out a disappointed sigh as she turned to him. "Sorry Lix, but it's top secret info."

He pouted at her response, begging us to tell him as he promised not to say a word to anyone. "Come on~ I'm your friend right Yeeun? You can tell me, I'm really good at keeping secrets." He poked at my arm with pleading eyes.

Luck seemed to be on my side today as someone called my name from the door. "Yeeun! The teacher wants to see you," an acquaintance from class said, catching everyone's attention.

"Sorry, I guess this conversation will have to wait," I apologized to Felix before quickly making my way out of the room.

I let out a sigh of relief as I walked down the hall. That was a close one. I made my way toward the teacher's office, hoping I wasn't in trouble. Unsure of what I'd encounter, I knocked on the door. "Come in," Mrs. Lim answered. I took a deep breath as I turned the knob and pushed the door open.

Walking inside, I saw Hyunjin seated in one of the chairs placed in front of Mrs. Lim's desk. "You wanted to see me?" I looked at Mrs. Lim as she motioned for me to take a seat in the empty chair. I sat down, glancing at Hyunjin. Mrs. Lim cleared her throat, a smile forming on her face. "Hyunjin will be moving to our class next week, and I'd like you to fill him in on how our class works."

My eyebrows furrowed, not understanding why she chose me. "Mrs. Lim, I don't mean to question your decisions, but may I know why you chose me instead of Seungmin? He's the class president after all."

"He has other tasks to take care of at the moment, so I decided you'd be my second-best student to do the job," she smiled. I nodded and she told us we could leave. Hyunjin stood up, making his way toward the door before holding it open. He gestured for me to go first and I gave him a small thank you.

Once we were down the hallway, he swung an arm around my shoulder. "Are you busy after school?" He asked. I took a look at his arm before pushing it off me. He awkwardly shook away the embarrassment, clearing his throat. I pretended as if I didn't notice, answering his question as we walked. "I have plans with Minho."

He simply nodded his head. We walked in silence for what seemed like hours until he spoke. "Can I join? There's something I wanna tell you..."
