Yeeun POV
Wonhyuk continued poking my shoulder as we walked to the school. "Will you stop," I smacked his hand away.
"Come on, let's go to the party together," he whined.
"But—"
"You said you'd stop studying and do what I wanted. I want us to go to the party and that's final," he interrupted before walking through the school gates dramatically.
I picked up my pace to catch up to him and saw Seungmin standing at the doors. He seemed more nervous than usual when he saw us. Is it because of Wonhyuk?
"Were you waiting?" I asked once we got close to him.
He rubbed the back of his neck nervously as he glanced at Wonhyuk. "I-um..."
Wonhyuk smiled before walking over to him and throwing his arm over his shoulder. "Nice to see you again. The name's Wonhyuk."
I raised a brow as I looked at both of them. "You've met before?"
Seungmin raised his hands in front of him to deny it but Wonhyuk spoke instead. "I ran into him at the convenience store last time."
I nodded, unamused, before waking into the school. "Yeeun, wait for us!" Wonhyuk called from behind.
We made it to the practice area and Seungmin seemed to be quite in a hurry to leave. He quickly waved before he left to get ready as Coach Oh walked towards us.
"Yeeun! This must be your helping hand," Coach Oh smiled as he looked at Wonhyuk.
"Hello sir, my name is Song Wonhyuk," he flashed a smile.
"What a nice fellow. Call me Coach Oh," he chuckled and Wonhyuk nodded.
He pointed towards the bench that was covered with huge boxes. "Let's move over there so I can tell you two what we'll be doing."
We walked over to the bench and Coach Oh opened one of the boxes. "Alright. Yeeun, you're in charge of sorting the uniforms for the boys. I asked them to leave their bags here so you could place them inside. They have their names on them so don't worry." He pointed towards the bags lying on the ground before moving to another box.
"Wonhyuk, you'll be helping me assemble some equipment and store them where they need to be. Simple enough?" He looked at both of us and we exchanged glances before nodding.
"Great! By the way Yeeun, one of my players is injured so if you need help you can ask for his assistance," he motioned towards the boy sitting on the bench next to the boxes, staring off into the distance.
"Yes, sir," I replied.
He gave me a small smile before telling us to get started. I walked over the boxes, taking a deep breath. I started taking uniforms out one by one and piling them on top of the bag they belonged to. "You need some help?" The injured boy asked.
I shook my head, "I'm fine, you're injured so just stay there." I refused, since the thought of getting help from an injured person seemed quite inconsiderate.
I glanced up at him and saw a pout form on his face. "I'm bored here though, at least let me talk to you?" He tilted his head slightly as I gave him my full attention. I guess it wouldn't hurt.
"If you insist," I answered and a bright smile immediately replaced his pout.
As I continued to look through labels plastered on the plastic bags containing the uniforms, the injured boy began rambling. "How come you act like you don't know me? We met before. I'm a little hurt you don't remember."
