Hyunjin pov
I'm currently sitting in Coach Oh's office watching Yeeun organize paperwork into baskets on Coach Oh's shelf. I kept myself busy by talking to Yeeun and asking her a bunch of questions. She seemed annoyed but she still answered me anyways.
"Hyunjin. You're supposed to be helping me, not watching me," she looked at me as she set down a large stack of papers.
"Miss Yeeun, I'll help you with anything you need as long as you ask. But remember, I'm injured," I smiled innocently as I batted my lashes at her.
She rolled her eyes before turning around to grab a basket off the shelf. "Where are you injured anyways? You look fine to me," she said as she sat back down.
I gasped in surprise, propping my elbow on the desk as I rested my chin in the palm of my hand. "Yeeun, it's so rare for you to ask me questions. Are you perhaps worried about me?" I asked.
She clicked her tongue. "Forget I asked then. You always have a way of twisting my intentions."
I pouted. "Yeeun~" she glared at me before I cleared my throat and sat up straight. "I sprained my wrist during practice a few weeks ago. It would've been healed by now, but it was a pretty serious sprain so it's taking longer than expected," I explained as I pulled up my sleeve to show her the brace on my arm.
Her brows furrowed and she looked at me in worry. "Does it hurt a lot?"
My lips curved a bit upward at her response. "Not really, it's not as bad now. But two weeks ago it was unbearable." I smirked as I stretched my arm out to her. "But if you give it a little kiss I think it'll get better."
She raised her arm as if she would hit me instead so I quickly pulled my arm away in defeat. "So why do you like me? You said you would explain it but you never did," she said as she straightened a handful of papers.

flashbackAfter bidding goodbye to Minho as he flashed me a glare, I decided to walk Yeeun home. "Didn't you say you had something to tell me?" Yeeun asked as we walked.
"About that...so how is Mrs. Lim's class? Is there anything I should be worried about?"I asked.
She looked at me in disbelief. "I doubt that has anything to do with what you wanted to tell me."
After pep-talking myself and taking a deep breath, I let it out. "Yeeun...I like you."
She froze, looking at me in shock. "What? But we barely know each other."
"We've known each other longer than you think," I replied before I continued walking.
She jogged after me. "Wait! Tell me why!" She said as she called after me.
"I'll tell you next time. See you at school," I waved at her as we stopped in front of her house and she stared at me, dumbfounded.
end of flashback
***"You amazed me. It surprised me how we'd been in the same class, sitting next to each other since middle school, and you never remembered me," I answered.
She looked at me like I was lying. "There's no way we've been in the same class for so long."
I shrugged. "You never cared about anyone, so of course, you don't remember."
She nodded knowingly. "Sorry..." she mumbled as she looked down at the papers in front of her. We sat in silence for a minute before she cleared her throat and stood up. She rushed to the shelf in order to avoid me.
She seemed to be struggling to place the basket back on the shelf, so I stood up to help her. Just as I was about to lend her a hand, the basket hanging over the top shelf started slipping. "Watch out!"My eyes widened and I quickly pushed it back in place. I winced, letting out a hiss as I realized I pushed the basket with my sprained wrist.
She turned around in shock, our faces inches apart. "A-are you okay?"

Coach Oh told us we would end practice early since it started raining heavily. I went to go tell Hyunjin and Yeeun we could leave, but stopped as I reached the door. I wasn't sure what was going on, but seeing them in that position made me want to pull them apart instantly. "Yeeun, let's go work on our project," I spoke in a cold tone.
She peered past Hyunjin's frame and looked at me. "Is practice over?"
"It's raining, we should go," I answered shortly.
She nodded. "Okay, give me a minute. Let me take care of Hyunjin first."
Take care of him? He can take of himself perfectly fine. I scoffed as I watched her talk to him with a worried expression. I couldn't hear what they were saying but it was beginning to make me furious. My fists were slowly forming into balls as Coach Oh walked past me.
"Hyunjin! Let's go, we have to get to your doctor's appointment and this rain is not going to calm down anytime soon," he said as he walked into the office.
Yeeun said her goodbyes to Hyunjin and Coach Oh before walking up to me. "Okay, let's go," she said as she glanced at me.
She took out an umbrella from her bag as she walked ahead without me. I took a couple of big steps to catch up to her. She glanced at me as she opened her umbrella. "Did you bring an umbrella?" She asked.
I didn't answer since I was still bothered by the scene I saw a moment ago. "Hello? I asked you a question. Why are you acting like this?" she said as she nudged me.
"No, I'm usually prepared but I forgot I let Felix borrow it," I answered.
She didn't say a word. Instead, she held the umbrella out to me. "You hold it then."
I fumbled with the handle since I was taken aback by her actions. She opened the door once I had hold of the umbrella, and we walked out into the pouring rain. "I can't believe you want to do our project in this weather," she yelled since the sound of the rain surrounded us.
She kept trying to keep a distance between us, but I didn't want her to get wet. I moved the umbrella to my left hand before pulling her close to me. She looked at me in shock as she tried to pull away, but I stopped her. "Stop moving away, if you keep doing that we'll both get wet."
She looked away as we kept walking. "So where are we going?" She asked.
"How about your house?" I replied.
