Prologue

"Wukong! Please be careful, I can't be a proper Queen without my King."

"Hah! You wound me dear wife, do you think your King could fall so easily?"

"You're right how forgetful of me. But please, come back to me."

"Nothing in this world could keep me from you my love,... I'll see you when I return."

"Great Buddha, I wish to apologize on behalf of my husband's actions, but please I beg of you is there anyway that you would free him?"

"Young One, I appreciate your apology, but I'm afraid your foolish husband cannot be freed from his punishment."

"Great Buddha, please, surely there's something. I do not wish to wait 500 years for my beloved."

"Young One, why would one such innocent soul like yourself wish to aid this soul?"

"He is my everything, Great Buddha. I cannot bear to be without him."

"Very well child, I will allow one thing. If you wish to be with your love, you can share his punishment, however, your powers will be sealed much like his are. I can't have you breaking his seal, understand?"

"Yes! Of course Great Buddha I only wish to be with him. Thank You"

    Seeing the coulomb with the various handprints showing the captives last fleeting moments of desperation was shocking. A pit formed in your stomach, your eyes began to ache as unshed tears began to form.

    This was your beloved, acting out of desperation to escape. You looked around the cave and saw the many statues of Buddha. The chains hanging from the ceiling and the ever prominent chill in the air.

   "Young One are you sure you wish to do this?"

   You smiled at the notion,
"Of course Great Buddha, I do not wish for him to be alone when he is freed. Nor can I stand the thought of being alone in wait."

"Very well then."
Standing close to your husbands imprisonment, you reached out your hand and touched a handprint close to you.

    As the room started to grow chiller, ice began to cover your body. The last thing you say remained unspoken but conveyed in your mind.
"I will be here when you wake just like you promised."
