Chapter 10 A Tearful Goodbye & A New Beginning

A/N OMG here we are you lovely's! It's the finale of the movie Monkey King: Hero is Back! Though it's only been 10 chapters plus a special, I am extremely grateful for all you lovely readers that have been here along the way. I don't wanna rant for long since I know you are all raring to read, so I'm just gonna say I hope you enjoy! On to the Chapter!!!

   You smile as you bring your  own hand out, reaching for his. Before Sun's face morphs into horror as the creature's foot reaches you both first. His body ricochets off the creature's as he's sent flying back. Time stands still, his eyes remain locked on your previous location as he falls down.NO!

    
      Sun's body tumbled down the rock cliff before falling flat. Slowly pushing himself up, he leaned back on his knees. His gaze lifted up as he took in the crumbling cliff side. Time seemed to slow down as he turned to the creature; glancing up to he saw an old man and Piggy's yelling forms. His focus turned back to the falling rocks, mind a mess Sun couldn't think straight. How could this happen?!

        Realization dawned in Sun's mind as he jerked his head to the left. Y/N! Eyes wide, Sun saw the sight of Lieur's Great Sage doll leaning against a pile of rocks. His entire body was petrified as he rushed to the rubble. He reached a shaky hand out and gently grasped the doll. His eyes glossed over before he began frantically digging through the rocks. His voice was hysterical as he desperately called out, "Y/N! Lieur!"

     Flinging rocks away Sun's mind repeated the same phrase over and over again like a mantra. Please,please,please,please... "Lieur! Y/N!" Digging deeper and deeper, Sun froze at the sight of a painstakingly familiar arm wrapped around a tiny hand. He's seen that arm more times than he can count, to the point that he's memorized it.

     Both of his hands tremble as he brings them close to the hand; just as he wraps them around, he feels Lieur's hand go limp. His eyes fill with tears as he lets out a sob; bringing his enclosed hands to his forehead, Sun's body shakes. Throwing his head back, Sun lets out anguished howl. Tears fall down his face before he screams.

     He leans over the rocks, breathing hard. His face was solemn at the thought that Lieur was gone. He knew you were immortal, but you've never been hurt like this before; so, you'd wake up and be devastated at losing Lieur. Sun reached out a hand before taking the doll, he breathed in before gently placing the doll in Lieur's hand. His fingers brush the feather strands at the top.

       His face steeled, Sun stands up. Smoke surrounds his body as he flexed both hands at his sides. His body tensely stood before a flame erupted around his seal. The pain brought him to his knees, as small rocks began floating. Sun gritted his teeth as he stood, his eyes set in a glare before he walked forward. As he passed, the stone wall crumbled away.

      He makes his way to the edge before lifting a foot; his head tilts as he releases a agonized scream, before looking down and stomping his foot on air. The seal cracks from his pressure before Sun walks into the sky. The creature throws a boulder his way but it melts down before surrounding Sun. The molten rock fixes itself into armor around his body.

     Sun's right arm moves out, causing a burst of fire to erupt from his back. The fire turns into his red cape as Sun's feathered crown appears on his head. His body floats down as the creature roars under him. Sun's eyes glow red as he glared, his right hand reaching to his ear. His face grimaces from the pressure as Sun pulls a pole out slowly. The creature lunges at him before a bright light erupts. The creature is flung back, a wave of yellow light passing as it cuts through the ground for miles.

     The creature's head looks down to see its legs cut off. The sunlight shines down on Sun, his arm holding his famous power pole. His eyes shift to the creature before he soars through the air towards it. His eyes shut as images of Lieur and you pass through his mind. His eyes open into a glare as rage fills his body as he shoots to the creature. He flies around quickly and lifts it up into the air. Letting out a shout before striking the monster, slicing it in half.
