Chapter 9 Strength Means Sacrifice

       "Where are you going?" Piggy glances back before Sun says, "We've got some kids and my wife to save."Piggy looks back to Sun with a smile as he grows excited. Sun smirks, his eyes steeled as his mind pictured your smiling face then your face as you were taken away. Hold on Y/N, your King is coming. And when I get there, I'm gonna kill that bastard.

          "Ancient temples stood, upon the Mountain of Five Elements," What in Buddha's name is that?! Your head snaps up towards the cauldron. Your ears felt like they were bleeding at the tone deaf pitch, you grimace as your quickly cover them. You wince in pain at the wizard's supposed "singing". Your tail stuck stiff straight behind you as the chalkboard sound continued, "By the long river, under magnificent eaves,"

       Death is better than this torture! To make matters worse it seemed all the trolls followed in unison. You gotta be kidding me! You sweat dropped at the fiasco occurring before your eyes. The wizard's next few words called your complete attention, "I take the essence of children," Your eyes widened at the sight of the burning cauldron. Wait, does he mean?! "For alchemy to mark my quest for eternal longevity,"

     He does! He totally does! The trolls begin howling at the statement, something small moved to the wooden stairs. It was too small to be a normal troll, but you weren't able to tell from this distance. You watched as another troll ran after it into a cave. Weird. Suddenly you saw two legs crash through the wooden floor boards. Tiny legs?! Wait, is that Lieur?! It is! It's Lieur!

     Your mind raced as you thought of how to make it up to him, before it ultimately decided. Looks like I'm going with Plan T- Take Em by Storm! Your arms go to the bars, before they make quick work by crushing the wood. Dusting your hands off, you jumped high before your hands gripped a wooden support pole. You began climbing silently and quickly. Your eyes glance up every now and again to see Lieur's legs kicking. As you're three fourths there, you pause as two trolls fall down, passing you and landing into the cauldron. Shaking your head at the image, you return to climbing.

      Once you reach the floor boards, you bring an arm up and punch straight through. The opening made is wide enough for you to squeeze through. Pulling yourself off your eyes scan before settling on two other pair of eyes looking at you. Lieur's face was mixed between shock and relief, while the old man was shocked still. You smile as you give a brief wave before saying, "I'm here to rescue you, Lieur!"

     Lieur's face stretched into a smile before he excitedly exclaimed, "Y/N! You're here! I'm so happy!" He looks towards the old man before saying, "Sifu, this is Y/N, the Great Sage's wife! She's helped me through this entire journey!" You make your way to Lieur and Sifu, placing your hands on Lieur's shoulders as you softly say, "Lieur introductions can come later, right now I need to get you, Sifu, and the Little One out of here!"

    You brace your body before you begin pulling up, Sifu reaches out and helps you. Together you both pull as hard as you can before a sudden lurch beneath you all was felt. Eyes wide, you briefly glanced down before an unmistakable breaking sound was heard before you all were falling down. Your airborne as you shoot your tail to Lieur, while an arm grabs onto Sifu. Seeing something hanging below you, you aim to latch on. Your bodies fall right onto it as your arm and legs secure your body, keeping a strong hold on Sifu and Lieur.

     The sudden extra weight of your bodies, causes the wooden ball to snap off the rope and tumble down. Not again! Lieur's sudden exclamation caused your eyes to look down. "Sifu, Y/N, look!" Your eyes look down to see-Babies?! Why are there so many babies?! Sudden baby squeals and babbles filled your ears before a familiar squeal was heard. Your eyes snap to the sound before a smile exploded on your face-Little One! You're okay!
