Chapter 22

"Gutom ka na ba?" tanong niya sa kalagitnaan ng byahe namin.

Ngayon lang niya ulit ako kinausap pagkatapos kanina. Ewan ko nga eh. I'm just thankful with the music on the stereo that makes the mood alive between the two of us.

"Papakainin mo ba ako?" I asked out of the blue. Gusto ko tuloy putulin dila ko dahil do'n. This is what I really hate when I'm with him...I feel insane.

"Hinde. Ano ka sinuswerte? Libre mo ako. Hirap kaya magdrive."

I still remember back then when he was still courting me. Muntikan na nga niyang hindi gawin dahil sinabi niyang hindi siya marunong. But you know what pushed him to do that? I told him that I'll entertain my other suitors because he's not worth it. I know it's kinda savage to his part but he really did a lot of efforts just to receive the sweetest 'Yes' from me.

"Everyone can reject me but not the world 'cause you're my world, Nathalie and I'll love you until the deepest part of my life."

Sa salita niyang 'yon ako sobrang nahulog. Nasabi ko sa sarili kong ayaw ko ng magmahal pa ng iba kung hindi lang din naman siya. He's my first love and definitely be the last even he belongs to someone else now. I can sacrifice my own happiness just to see his genuine smile again with someone. Masaya na akong binigay niya sa akin ang kambal.

My reminiscing has ended when the car stopped in front of an eatery.

"Let's eat first. I know you're hungry and I'm scared that you'll see me as a food and eat me all of a sudden."

Before I can react and punch him on the face, he rushed outside of the car in just a blink of an eye. Ano siya si flash? Bwiset talaga ang lalakeng 'yon. Hindi man lang ako hinintay...

I checked my face first with my compact mirror and applied some powder and tint before going outside. Ayaw ko namang magmukhang haggard.

"May gusto ka bang kainin?" Naupo ako sa harapan niya nang makapasok sa karinderya. Simple lang dito at presko kaya ang sarap kumain lalo na't mga palayan at bundok ang makikitang view sa harap.

"Tapsilog nalang."

"Noted."

Siya na ang nagpunta sa counter para mag-order. While waiting, I get my phone inside my bag to check if I have a message. 

'30 unread messages from Nathangina'

Ano na naman kayang nakain ni kuya at pinaulanan na naman ako nang sobrang daming message? Pagbukas ko nito ay gusto ko nalang mag-teleport papunta sa kanya at sapakin hanggang sa magtino.

'Enjoy with your ex, sissy!'

'Yieee kinikilig na yarn'

'Alam mo bang pinaalala ko rin kay Apollo kanina na magdala ng cond*m dahil baka masundan agad ang kambal HAHAHAHAHAHAHA'

'Ay? Ba't dehins ka nagrereply? Masyado ka na talagang busy sa ex mo.'

'Tampo na ang kuya mong mas pogi pa kay Cha Eunwoo:('

I immediately searched on google and typed how to kill a brother through the screen. Gosh...kuya is really something I can't take! Grabe siya kung mang-trip sa 'kin pero kung ako naman ang mang-asar sa kanya, napaka-pikunin. 'Yong totoo? Sino ba talaga ang babae sa 'min? 

And what was he saying that he asked Apollo to bring that thing? Is he really serious? Nakakainis na talaga. After blocking him, I turned off my phone and put it back inside my bag. Ilang minuto pa akong naghintay nang sa wakas ay dumating na si Apollo dala ang tray na naglalaman ng mga pagkain namin.
