Chapter 2

'To Mr. Gaunt Slytherin

You are requested to arrive at Gringotts Bank at your earliest convenience to discuss matters such as your inheritance and vaults. There have been disturbances which cannot be eliminated without your permission and the matters have to be discussed in person. There is a portkey attached with this letter and the word 'Gold' has to be said to activate it. 

May your enemies fall at your feet.

Gaunt Slytherin? Inheritance? Vaults? Seriously what is going on? Well guess what whatever, shit happens to me all the time so I don't even care at this point, I'll find it out when i go to Gringotts. Now the question is that should I go now or tomorrow morning? 

They did say that I should go at my earliest convenience not now so I can go tomorrow early in the morning, but would I be able to sleep with the questions nagging in my head? I sigh. Now it is then. I stood up and thought about transfiguring my cropped shirt into a proper shirt and the pajamas pants to proper pants. 

Without even getting my wand or saying the spell, my clothes transfigured into what I wanted them to be. Whoa did I just do wandless and non-verbal magic at the same time? Damn. I took out Hedwig from her cage and told her to go to The Leaky Cauldron. I took out the portkey, it was a single galleon "Gold". 

I felt the same familiar pull at my naval and a second later I felt myself land on the stairs in front of Gringotts. I bowed to the Goblin Guards and they bowed back. I was one of the only wizards that actually showed the goblins respect and I always bowed and showed them respect so they weren't surprised. 

I enter the huge marble building and head for the goblin teller. "Greetings Master Goblin" 

"State your business" "I received this letter from Gringotts about 10 to 15 minutes earlier and was asked to come here to discuss matters regarding my inheritance and vaults." I say while handing the goblin the letter.  

The goblin opens the letter and reads it. His eyes widened and he suddenly said, "Of course, of course! Right this way Mr. Gaunt Slytherin." I followed the goblin through a very big hallway and we stopped in front of huge marble doors adorned with precious jewels. The goblin knocks twice on the doors and the doors open. Inside the large room there was an old looking goblin sitting on a chair behind a desk in the middle of the room with a crown  on his head. 

"Master Ragnok, Mr. Gaunt Slytherin." The goblin said in a low voice looking terrified of Ragnok. The old goblin-Ragnok nods and I walk in and sit down in the chair in front of the desk, opposite to the old goblin. 

"Greetings Master Goblin Ragnok." "Greetings Mr. Gaunt Slytherin. We are here to talk about your inheritance and vaults. I can understand that you must have a lot of questions but most of them if not all will be answered after you take a blood test and inheritance test."  

"Of course Master Goblin." Ragnok summons two sheets of parchment and a dagger with the hilt adorned with  jewels. "You have to cut a small wound and let fall 10 drops of blood on each parchment. "I nod and cut a small wound on my palm and let fall 10 drops of blood on the parchments. After the blood falls the wound heals on its own and writing starts appearing on the parchments. This is what was written on it.
