Chapter 14

(Short Update)

The rest of the train ride was uneventful and Haiden found himself in the Great hall with his friends. As the sorting ceremony came to an end and dinner began with chatter, Haiden couldn't help but look at Draco, maybe he could surprise him. Smirking, Haiden went back to his food knowing that the first few weeks were going to be uninteresting barring his introduction in the death eaters meeting.

Time skip

As predicted the first few weeks were boring, the only remotely interesting thing being Professor Slughorn and Dumbledore telling Haiden to become close to Professor Slughorn. Regardless, Haiden got ready to go to his family manor where the death eaters meeting was being held. Making sure he was out of sight, Haiden stripped off his glamor and shadow walked to his room in the manor. The meeting was about to start and Haiden decided to be fashionably late.

He was walking down the hallway leading to the meeting room, he could hear greetings from the death eaters to his father, one of them in the voice of Draco Malfoy. He hums softly then puts on his perfectly created mask (figurative). The doors fly open at the use of his magic as he steps inside emitting an aura of power and authority. Silence engulfs the room as this seemingly unknown intruder walks in and seats himself at the end of the table. Satisfied with his dramatic entrance, he addresses the dark lord, "Father."

"Son." The dark lord replies. There was a stunned silence in the room at this revelation. Marvolo says, "Sixteen years ago, Dumbledore had taken away something very dear to me, something I couldn't live without, something when taken away from me-drove me to insanity- Dumbledore had taken away my son from me. Sixteen years later I have got him back-my son, my heir, the next dark lord and today I introduce him to you Haiden Gaunt Slytherin."

Really sorry for how long it took for me to update. Life happened, a lot of things are happening and writing is not one of my priorities right now or in the near future. I have a very very important exam coming up and i cannot promise the aftermath of it that may affect my attention and/or interest towards this book.
