When Everything Changes (REWRITE) [HIATUS]

Chapter 6

The book had a lot more in it about mating rules etc. It was very interesting and the more I read the more curious I got about my other creature inheritances. It was 6:33 when I finished reading the first book. I was surprised at how fast I read it. It was a very big and fat book so I was honestly surprised that I could finish it in an hour and 17 minutes. I picked up the next book, which was bigger than the previous one. Shadow mage.  

'Shadow mage inheritances are very rare. They are incredibly strong and due to their power and are often categorised as evil. If a Shadow mage trains their power properly, they can shadow walk, control and manipulate others and their shadow as they wish. They can also make clones of themselves or other people's. They also excel in dark magic and are excellent in long-mid range combat. They are mostly cold and calculative in nature.' 

'Shadow art is very difficult and only the most skilled shadow mages can perform this art. Shadow art allows the person to double the effectiveness of anything such as spells, attacks or even potions. Shadow art also allows the mage to cast complete darkness. The dark will enhance the mage's powers. Shadow art also enhances the mages' stealth and sabotage skills. It also allows the mage to create mirror illusions.' 

This book had quite a few complexities so by the time I finished it it was 7:54. The shops in diagon alley do not open before 11a.m, 9:30 at the earliest. I sighed and decided to just move onto the two books about elemental magic and elemental magees. 

'The Elementals are wizards who have the ability to manipulate an element to such an extent that it goes beyond simple spells and charms. There are four known bending arts; all of them bend a specific physical element. The four elemental bending arts are based on the four classical elements, water, earth, fire, and air, and each is manipulated through the wand the Elemental possesses. While bending is traditionally performed through the motions of one's wand movements, certain Elementals are able to effectively manipulate their element with only minimal movement of their wand. However, some very powerful elementals can do so without a wand or wandlesly.' 

'Elemental mages inherit the power and are naturally capable of this type of magic. Though this inheritance is very rare as the witch or wizard has to have a very strong core since birth. Elemental magic can be learnt by someone who doesn't have the inheritance, there abilities will be limited whereas elemental mages can control and/or manipulate elements such as water, earth, fire, air, thunder, lightning, time, ice, metal, venom, light, nature, hypnosis and crystal. ' 

The books went on about how to control each element and what not. This was very informative and complex and it took me quite some time to wrap my head around actually how powerful I was and how much was hidden from me. I then moved onto  the next book. This book was all about creature laws and mating rules, this that etc. Reading this book was pretty anticlimactic compared to the previous four. By the time I was finished with all the five books it was 11:35. I sigh as I get up from the bed and washed my face. I wake up Hedwig and tell her that I would be leaving and that she should stay here and wait for me.
