"I'm ready, are you?" You step into the hall.
"Come on, let's go" he nudged you as you walked out of the building. The two of you made your way over to the Washington memorial where you started running laps together.
"On your left!" Steve called as you both raced passed a man while the sun began to rise.
"On your left!" He called again as you passed the man once more.
"Uh-huh, on my left. Got it." The man called after you both. You laughed while keeping up speed.
This time on your way around you are both coming up from behind the man when he notices.

"Come on!" The man throws his hands in the air. He tries to speed up and catch the two of you but he slows down faster than expected and takes a break to breath.
