Lily's POV
I woke up in Jack's arms. My favourite place to be. I had a room to myself and nobody would just walk in without knocking. Or so I thought. I looked at the clock and it said 8:03am. Perfect time.
"Bub, you need to wake up. You have rehearsals today and a show tonight." I whispered, lightly tickling him so he would wake up and hopefully be in a good mood. I heard a light giggle and watched Jack's eyes flutter open.
"Good morning beautiful!" Jack said pulling me closer, even though I didn't think that was possible as I was already pretty close to him.
"Good morning Jack, we have two hours before we have to leave for your rehearsal and the boys are probably wondering where you are, especially Zach." I said playing with his hair.
"I wanna stay here with you for a bit though. The others won't be awake for a while yet so we have some time before they wake up." He replied.
We stayed in bed cuddling and talking for another half an hour when my hotel room door flew open. In utter panic, thinking it was David, I jumped out of bed and into the bathroom so he wouldn't have seen me in bed cuddled up with Jack.
Luckily, it wasn't David. It was all of the other guys coming to check how I was after being at the hospital.
"Do you guys not know how to knock? You're all so annoying!" I said with a hint of anger in my voice. I love being with Jack but having to hide this from David is getting stressful. I'm so paraniod all the time.
"OOOOO, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. We're sorry, we just wanted to know how it went at the hospital last night." Jonah replied.
"I'm sorry, it's just... lady issues. I broke my wrist in two places but it wasn't too serious luckily. I have to go back to the hospital in America in like eight weeks to get my cast removed. We got back around 1:30 this morning, Jack didn't wanna wake Zach so he stayed in here with me last night. Oh and also to help me since i cant use my left hand for a few days." I answered.
"Yeah, sure. That's the reason he stayed in here." Zach said winking at us. "How are you going to take photos if you can only use one hand? Surely you need two?"
"Its fine, I'm right handed anyways so I'll just balance the camera on my cast and use my right hand to press the buttons and focus. I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out! Don't worry, you'll still have great instagram photos!" I replied with a laugh.
We stayed talking for a few minutes until I kicked them all out, including Jack, so I could get ready and they could get ready for their rehearsals.
I grabbed a pair of black ripped jeans, a white crop top and a Why Don't We hoodie. I put my slip on vans on too.
My phone started blowing up and I was getting loads of notifications. David. Shit. I grabbed my phone and called him back.
"Hello, is everything okay?" I asked nervously.
"Are you ready? We need to be in the bus in the next five minutes to get to the venue on time! Be down stairs ASAP!" And with that he hung up.
I grabbed my camera, camera equipment, bag and other things I'd need throughout the day. I grabbed my phone and headed to the elevator so I could be downstairs before David could have a go at me for being late.
I met with the rest of the guys and we all climbed onto the tour bus and headed to the venue. I sat on the couch on the bus next to Jack as we traveled to the venue.
Luckily the venue wasn't very far from the hotel so it didn't take us long to get there. When we arrived, there were already fans waiting outside the venue. The show wasn't for another eight hours but I guess they wanted to be at the front so they could be closer to the boys. The boys said a few hellos and took some photos before David made them go into the venue and start rehearsing.
We put all of our belongings in the green room and the boys made their way to the stage area for soundcheck. I took a few photos of the boys practicing and messing around while David sorted some things out for the show and made sure all of the visuals were ready and prepared for the show tonight.
