Lily's POV

I haven't spoken to Jack in 3 days. He's called and text a load of times but I haven't replied. I couldn't. Maddie is still here. She's been helping me find a way to tell Jack, and she's been helping me while I throw up with my morning sickness. It's not been as bad over the last few days though but I still do throw up every morning.

We were currently sat in the living room watching tv when there was a knock at my front door. I live in a block of apartments and you need a code to get in to the building. It has to be one of my neighbours. I don't really know any of them to be honest. I've barely met them, I just stay to myself.

"Maddie, can you get that please! I don't wanna move and I'm carrying a human inside of me!" I said with a laugh.

She agreed and got up. I heard the door open.

"Jack, what are you doing here?!" Maddie said in shock.

Fuck. He's here. I turned round in shock and looked at Maddie who had her back to me and was talking to Jack.

"Maddie? I could ask you the same thing! I didn't know you were coming. I came to see if Lily was okay, she hasn't been answering my texts or calls and I was really worried. Is she in there? Can I see her?" He explained.

"One second please!" Maddie said as she closed the door slightly. She turned to look at me with a small smile on her face. "Shall I let him in?" She asked me. I just nodded my head and sunk further into the sofa. I guess I'm telling him today.

Maddie opened the door and a sad and worried looking Jack walked in.

"Lily, are you okay? You haven't been answering and I was worried!" He said pulling me into a hug as he sat next to me on the couch.

"I'm sorry, I just needed some space and time to think about a few things. I called Maddie because I needed a friend and some advise." I said looking at her.

"So how are you feeling? Do you still have a stomach bug? Are you feeling better?" He asked kissing my forehead.

'Tell him now.' Maddie mouthed at me.

"Jack, I'm not ill and I don't have a stomach bug, I never did!" I said quickly looking at him.

"What?" He gave me a very confused look.

"Jack, I'm pregnant." I said looking down at my hand that was resting on my stomach. He stood up and didn't say anything for a while. I have ruined everything but one thing I know, I am having this baby.

"You're pregnant?" He said as he paced back and forth. I just nodded my head. I couldn't tell how he was feeling about this. And that scared me.

"You're pregnant! I'm gonna be a dad!" He exclaimed as his facial expression changed from confusion to happiness. He ran over to me and pulled me into the tightest hug. I looked at Maddie in surprise.

"You're okay with this? You're not mad at me?" I asked as he pulled away slightly. 

"Mad at you? Why would I be mad? We're both to blame for this but we're going to be parents! Okay, there's a lot to think about but we have time, how far gone are you?" He said with a smile.

"About a month I think, well that's what the doctor told me! But Jack, I don't want people finding out yet, not even the boys. Not until I'm at least 12 weeks and I've been for a scan. And we have to tell David. He's going to go mad and I'm going to lose my job but it will be okay. But Maddie is moving to LA to help me for a while!" I explained to Jack. 

After coming to terms with the fact I was going to be a mother, I was so excited. I've always wanted children and now I was finally going to have one. I know I'm still young but I'm going to make sure this baby is so loved and cared for.

"Erm Jack, how did you get into my apartment building? You need a code or to buzz a number but my phone never went off." I asked him.

"Someone was leaving the building and I caught the door so I could surprise you. I didn't know Maddie would be here though." He explains.

"Yeah, neither did she really. That day after the doctors, I called her while I was crying and she got the next flight out here." I told him.

"Is that when you found out? That day at the doctors. And is that why you threw up? From the morning sickness?" He asked. I just nodded my head. "It all makes sense now..."
