Lily's POV

Tour soon came round. After weeks of the boys rehearsing and me taking photos of them preparing for tour, the weeks flew by and before I knew it, I was standing at the airport with the rest of the guys waiting for our flight to be announced.

In the past month, I had hung out with the guys loads so we could get used to being round each other since we'd be together all the time on their tour. I stopped at their house a few days ago, but that was because we were watching a movie and I ended up falling asleep with my head on Jack's shoulder and they didn't want to disturb me.

Jack and I have also become really close recently. We spend a lot of time talking, texting and facetiming. We have a lot in common and I'm really enjoying getting to know him and the rest of the guys.

We're all sat waiting for the flight. Jonah, Zach, Daniel and David went to get Starbucks and Corbyn, Jack and I waited on a bench for them to return.

"Hey lils," Jack said, snapping me out of my thoughts and sitting next to me. "What? Oh sorry, hey Jack." I reply looking down. "Are you okay? You seem a bit out of it today." He admits. "I'm just nervous I guess." I state, scratching my arm. I'm terrified to be honest.

"Have you never flown before?" He questions, looking at me kind of weirdly. I just shake my head no. "Are you serious? How did you get here then? Do you wanna sit next to me?"

"Yeah, I'm serious. I got the train here, well five trains. And would it be okay? If I sat next to you?" I hesitantly asked, still scratching my arm.

As soon as I said that, my anxiety rose and I found it hard to breathe. It felt like there was no air getting to my lungs. My hands started shaking and they wouldn't stop. My heart rate increased rapidly and I started feeling dizzy. What was happening to me?

"Lils? Lily? She's having a panic attack." I heard someone say. I have no idea who it was. I felt Jacks hands grab mine as he crouched down in front of me. "Lily, you need to breathe. Okay, focus on my breathing." I heard him say.

After a few minutes, my breathing had gone back to normal and my heart rate had almost gone back to normal. I hadn't even noticed the rest of the guys had come back from Starbucks. Jack pulled me into a hug and I stayed there for a few minutes trying to stop crying.

"Are you okay? What happened?" Jonah said, looking at me concerned. "She had a panic attack. Lily has never flown before, she got 5 trains to LA." Jack replied. This is embarrassing.

"Are you gonna be okay? Cause our flight is being called." David says.

I grab my backpack and we all made our way to board the flight. We headed to our seats, I sat next to the window and Jack sat to the right of me. Unfortunately, the boys and us were split up and we weren't allowed to move nearer to them so we had to stay where we were because the flight was full.

When the plane began to move, my anxiety kicked in again. I had never been on a plane before and I already hated it. As the plane gathered speed, I got more and more nervous. I grabbed Jack's hand and squeezed it tightly as my breathing began to get heavier. "Lily, dont worry. It's okay. Just breathe." Jack said reassuring me.

Before I knew it we were thousands of feet in the air and my breathing had calmed down again. "Are you okay now?" Jack asks with concern in his voice. "Yeah, I'm okay now. I'm sorry you had to see me like that. And I'm sorry I never told you I'd never flown before." I sigh. "Don't worry. You'll see us a lot worse than that." Jack laughs making a small smile appear on my lips.

The flight goes smoothly and before I know it we're over seas and I'm fast asleep with my head on Jacks shoulder.
