Chapter 15

Peeta pov:
Katniss didn't eat anything yesterday and she didn't eat breakfast today then I realize I am hungry. We are sitting in the car in silence when hunger takes over.

"Can I have a cheese bun?" I ask.

"Sure" is all she says.

"Thanks"

"Yeah" she says. That's it.

"Katniss you have a beautiful body and you have to eat something it's not healthy to starve yourself!!" I say almost yell. She keeps her eyes on the road and then we come to a red light. She sighs and looks over at me.

"Fine it makes you happy I will eat a cheese bun" she says. She grabs one and starts to eat it and I start to eat mine. In less the 30 seconds she's done and I am still half way.

" See you were hungry" I say.

"No I wasn't I just eat fast" she says.

"Kat are you mad at me?" I ask. She sighs and keeps her eyes on the road.

"No I am not mad at you Peeta I just don't see why you care so much" she says. I guess she does know how much I care about her how much I love her, come to think of it I never told her I love her I am just waiting for the perfect moment maybe on our date tomorrow.

"Because I care about you" I say. She looks at me for a split second and looks back at the road. We park and make our way to the front of the school Finnick grabs Katniss's wrist and walks into the school I follow them and see them talking in the empty walls.

"What's wrong?" I hear finnick ask Katniss.

"Nothing" katniss says in a grumpy voice.

"You know he just cares about you" says Finnick.

"How do you know every problem?" She asks.

"I can see your emotion in your eyes" he says.

"Whatever I don't need you messing with my 'love life'" she says. And walks in the other direction. Finnick just walks by me. The bell rings and we head to class Katniss and I sit beside each other but she's not here yet. A few minutes later she walks in with a cut on her lip and a bruise under her eye. Everyone stares at her but she ignores it she takes her seat next to me and I am about to ask what happened when she cuts me off.

"No Peeta I will tell you later" she says. Science and art fly by and now it's lunch. I see Annie and her face is red she was crying everyone looks at Katniss.

"Why did you do that Katniss?" Asks Annie.

"She needed to learn she can't treat people like that" says Katniss.

"But you didn't need to do that" says Finnick.

"You would've done it to. Right?" Asks Katniss.

"Yeah I guess" he says.

"Ok what happened" screams Clove.

"Yeah what are you talking about?" Asks Cato.

"Well Delly went up to Annie and called her a sl#t and pushed her and she hit her back on the wall and fell down" Katniss starts. "Then I yelled at Delly and we got into a fight" katniss says.

"Did you win?" Asks Marvel.

"Really that's your first question" says Glimmer.

"You could say that" katniss says.

"You almost killed her" says Finnick.

"She's done worse to me!" yells a Katniss and she runs out of the cafeteria.

" I will get her" I say.

"Katniss!" I yell into the empty halls. I look in every class room and I looked around the school twice but she's nowhere. I make my way to the cafeteria and everyone looks at me.

"Where's Katniss" I ask finnick.

"How would I know you were the one that went to look in the school" he says.

"Yeah but she's not in the school" I say. "That means she is probably at that secret place you said she goes to" I say.

"But I don't know where that is" he says. CRAP Katniss where are you?
