Peeta pov:
Katniss looks so beautiful in that black dress. I am taking Katniss to a really fancy Japanese restaurant close by and I really hope she likes it. We pull up to the restaurant and I ask for our reservations we sit down.
"Peeta this place is beautiful" she says.
"Not a beautiful as you" I say.
"Ha number one pick up line Mellark" she says.
"Don't tease me Everdeen" I say. A waiter maybe in her early 20's comes up to us and she starts to flirt with me.
"So what college do you go to?"she asks.
"He's in high school" Katniss respondes clearly annoyed.
" And he has a girlfriend" says Annie?
"What are you doing here?" I ask.
"Finnick asked me on date" she says.
"But I was just with you" katniss says.
"Surprise?" Annie says.
"Next time you use my date as an excuse so the girls won't bother you about yours I swear" says Katniss
"Well I have to get back to Finnick bye" she says and walks away.
"Can we please order?" Asks Katniss.
"Whatever" says the waiter and walks away.
"If I wasn't wearing this dress I swear-" Katniss starts but then a male waiter who is about 30 walks up to us and finally takes our order. I don't know how to use chop sticks and I guess it's noticeable because Katniss starts to quietly laugh.
"Here it's easy let me show you" she says and teaches me how to use chop sticks.
"Do you like your sushi?" I ask.
"Yes I love Japanese food" she says. When we finish eating I pay them and we noticed people slow dancing on the dance floor. Katniss grabs my hand and she wants me to dance with her.
"I don't now how to slow dance" I say.
"Just put your hands on my hips and do this" she says and we start to slow dance.
"Your not a bad dancer" she says.
"Your not to bad yourself" I say.
"Hey I am the one who took a whole minute of my life to teach you how to dance" she says.
" I so sorry you wasted all that time" I say in a fake sorry voice.
" Apology not accepted" she says.
"Will this make it up to you?" I cup her cheeks with my hands and pull her into a kiss she doesn't hesitate to kiss back. We finally pull away.
"Ok I accept your apology" she says and I chuckle.
"Come on the nights not over" I say. We make our way to the car and I am driving her to the beach. I grab a beach towel and I lay it in the sand.
"Come sit with me" I say. She sits next to me and lays her head on my shoulder. After a few minutes she gets up.
"Let's go swim" she says.
"Katniss we aren't wearing any swim wear" I say. She takes off her dress and she is wearing underwear and a bra.
"It's no different" she says and walks to the water. I quickly take off my pants, shirt, socks and shoes so now I am only in my boxers I grab her hand and run to the water. We go in until the water is to our necks.
"You see that" I say pointing to the sunset. "That's my favourite color" I say.
"Yeah it's a beautiful color" she whispers. I put my hands on her waist and she puts her hands on my neck and we slowly lean in and kiss. We kiss until there is no breath left in our body maybe longer.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask.
"You think at this point you need to ask" she says.
"Is that a yes?" She pulls my head and gives me a passionate kiss.
"Damn right it's a yes" she says.
"Katniss" I say.
"Yeah?" she asks.
"I love you" I say.
"I love you too" she says back.
This is the best night in my life.
