Chapter 12

Mikasa PoV

Huh?So this is their apartment?It is huge.How did Levi get that rich.

I thought to myself.

I was standing in front of Levi's apartment,since I wanted to visit Emma and Petra.

I went into Levi's apartment.I was going to ring the bell when suddenly I  heard someone talking from inside.

It was a little girl's voice. It was Emma probably.

"Hey,Eren? What do you think about Mikasa?"Emma asked.

Eren!?!What is he doing here?I thought to myself.

"To be honest...I think I love her"I heard a grim voice speak which was probably Eren's.

BUT WAIT!What did he just say??????

E-eren-n  l-l-love-s  m-m-meeeee?????

I never knew Eren had those kind of feelings for me!

I was thinking all of this,but I hadn't realised that I had by mistake pressed the doorbell.I heard the doorbell ring.I was so flustered that I hadn't even realised that I was pressed the doorbell already.

Okay Calm down Mikasa.Don't act all flustered.Calm down!

I thought to myself.

Suddenly the door opened.I saw Eren there.

"Mikasa?"He said with a bit of surprise.

"Eren?"I said trying to put on a believable act.

"Why're you here?"I asked him

"To visit Emma"He replied simply.

"Eren!Who is it?"I heard Emma asking.

"It's Mikasa"He said

Okay Mikasa.It's Alright control yourself.Everything's fine

I thought to myself.

"You coming in or not?"I heard Eren asking.

"Ofcourse"I said annoyed

"Hello Emma!"I said walking in.

"Mikasa!"She came towards and wrapped her hands around me.

I bent down to take her in a hug.

"Surprised?"I said

"Mhmm."Emma answered

"So how are you?"I said

"I am fine"She said cheerfully.

"So?Why is Eren with you?"I asked practically whispering.

"Uh..mom and dad went out so Eren is taking care of me"Se replied

"Oh okay"I said

"And Mikasa you know Eren was saying...."She whispered but got cut off by Eren.

"What are you two talking about?"He asked

"N-nothing"I replied.

"So what were you two doing?"I asked.

"We were just talking"Eren replied

"Oh"I said.

This is getting awkward.Eren doesn't know how to carry on a conversation and I don't know what to speak.

I thought to myself.

I was going to say something but then suddenly Eren's phone began ringing.

Eren PoV

--Some time before--

"Hey Emma?"I said to Emma.We both were just sitting and chatting.

"Hmm?"She said.

"Well,What do you think about me?"I asked her.

"Hm?"She said raising an eyebrow.

"What do you think about me?Am I a nice person?"I asked her.

"Ofcourse you are!"She said enthusiastically?

"You're a very nice person...you play with me and talk to me nicely"she said smiling.

---Flashback---

"I like people who are nice and help others"a black haired girl spoke to a brunnete in front of him.

"So?What do you think about me?"The brunette asked.

"Hm?"she asked raising an eyebrow.

"What do you think about me?Am I a nice person?"He asked.

"Ofcourse you are!" She replied with a radiant smile

---End of Flashback---

"en-Eren?"Emma asked.

I quickly snap back into reality.

"What happened?"She asked.

"Nothing"I said.

Then when kept talking shifting the subject to Mikasa.

-- Back to present --

Suddenly my phone rang.I checked and it was my grandfather.

What did he want from me?

I thought.

"Excuse me for a second"I said to Mikasa and Emma and went to the balcony.

I picked up the phone.

"Hey Eren?"He said

"What?"I asked

"My men are going to kill a soldier.Levi is his name.I just sent you the address.Do you want to go with them?"He asked.

My expression changed after he mentioned the name Levi.

"No.How many times do I have to tell you that I won't get involved in your business?"

"But at the the end you will have to"he said and I hung up.

I had to something.If he dies Emma will break and Mikasa will also be sad.

I thought to myself and I suddenly remembered their smiles when they both said that I was a nice person.

I have to do it

I thought to myself.

Mikasa PoV

Eren came back from the balcony and looked towards me.

"Mikasa"He said

"Hm?"

"I need you to take care of Emma until I come back.I have to go somewhere"he said.

"Uh?s-sure"I replied.

"Eh???Where are you going?" Emma asked.

"Just somewhere.I will be back in a bit.Till then stay with Mikasa"He said patting her head.

"Okay"She replied

He walked out of the door and then told me to closed.

Eren PoV

Okay So now...let's get to the roof.

I thought while walking towards the stairs.
